Sheila Carol Cheston (born November 5, 1958, in Washington, D.C.) [1] is a United States lawyer who was General Counsel of the Air Force from March 1995 to October 1998.
Cheston was educated at Dartmouth College, receiving a B.A. in June 1980, and Columbia Law School, receiving a J.D. in May 1984. [1] [2]
From August 1984 through August 1985, she served as a law clerk for Judge W. A. Norris at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. [1]
From April 1994 through September 1994, Cheston was Special Associate Counsel to President of the United States Bill Clinton. [3] She was General Counsel of the Air Force from March 1995 to October 1998. [3]
Upon leaving government service, Cheston became a partner at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, where she chaired the firm's international aviation, defense, and aerospace group. In 2003, she became general counsel of BAE Systems, a position she held until 2009, when she became Executive Vice President. [4] She moved to rival Northrop Grumman in June 2010, becoming Northrop Grumman's general counsel. [3]

KC-X was the United States Air Force (USAF) program to procure its next-generation aerial refueling tanker aircraft to replace some of their older Boeing KC-135 Stratotankers. The contest was for a production contract for 179 new tankers with estimated value of US$35 billion. The two contenders to replace the KC-135 aircraft were Boeing and EADS, following the elimination of US Aerospace, Inc. from the bidding process.
General Gregory Stuart Martin is a retired U.S. Air Force general and Commander, Air Force Materiel Command at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Martin was a command pilot with more than 4,600 flying hours in various aircraft, including the F-4, F-15, C-20 and C-21. Upon retirement in 2005, Martin took a position consulting for Northrop Grumman and also served on an Air Force panel studying stealth aircraft technology, among other Pentagon and private industry roles.
General Edward Augustus Rice Jr. is a retired four-star general of the United States Air Force who served as the 30th Commander of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC). As commander, he was responsible for the recruiting, training and education of all United States airmen. His command included the Air Force Recruiting Service, two numbered air forces and Air University. Air Education and Training Command consists of 12 bases, more than 70,600 active duty, reserve, guard, civilians and contractors, and 1,380 trainer, fighter and mobility aircraft. He relinquished command of AETC to General Robin Rand on October 10, 2013.
The EADS/Northrop Grumman KC-45 was a proposed aerial refueling tanker aircraft based on the Airbus A330 MRTT. The United States Air Force (USAF) had ordered 179 KC-45As in the first stage of replacing the aging Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker tankers currently in service. However, the contest was reopened in July 2008, after Boeing's protest of the award was upheld. In response to the new contest, on 8 March 2010, Northrop Grumman announced it was abandoning its bid for the new contract, with its CEO stating that the revised bid requirement favoured Boeing. On 20 April 2010, EADS announced it was re-entering the competition and entered a bid with the KC-45. Eventually, the USAF selected the Boeing KC-46 Pegasus.
The 393rd Bomb Squadron is part of the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. It operates Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit nuclear-capable strategic bomber aircraft.

During that assignment, he also served as the U.S. representative to the joint committee for the Status of Forces agreement between the two countries.
Terrence (Terry) Feehan is a retired major general in the United States Air Force and was the Director of Strategic Plans and Requirements, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. In that role he was responsible for developing strategy, doctrine and policy for the command's space and cyberspace operations. After his military retirement, he became a vice president at Northrop Grumman where he directed a variety of staff functions and served as a major program director.
