Lafayette is a city in the U.S. state of Louisiana, and the most populous and parish seat of Lafayette Parish, located along the Vermilion River. It is Louisiana's fourth largest incorporated municipality by population and the 234th-most populous in the United States, with a 2020 census population of 121,374; the consolidated city–parish's population was 241,753 in 2020. The Lafayette metropolitan area was Louisiana's third largest metropolitan statistical area with a population of 478,384 at the 2020 census, overtaking the Shreveport–Bossier City metropolitan area in 2015. The Acadiana region containing Lafayette is the largest population and economic corridor between Houston, Texas, and New Orleans.
Denis Sassou Nguesso is a Congolese politician and former military leader who has been president of the Republic of the Congo since 1997. He served a previous term as president from 1979 to 1992. During his first period as president, he headed the Congolese Party of Labour (PCT) for 12 years. He introduced multiparty politics in 1990 and was then stripped of executive powers by the 1991 National Conference, remaining in office as a ceremonial head of state. He stood as a candidate in the 1992 presidential election but was defeated, placing third.

Francis P.Mull Eugene Mullen is the former vocalist of the American technical death metal band Suffocation. He is one of the first vocalists to introduce low-pitched guttural vocals into the death metal genre. He performed and recorded with the band from 1989 to 2018.
The Levi Jordan Plantation is a historical site and building, located on Farm to Market Road 521, 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of the city of Brazoria, in the U.S. state of Texas. Founded as a forced-labor farm worked by enslaved Black people, it was one of the largest sugar and cotton producing plantations in Texas during the mid-19th century, as well as a local center of human trafficking.

Heath played for the Houston Texans from 2016 to 2019, and was a member of the Denver Broncos in 2020.
Gregory Brian Mancz is an American football center for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Toledo, where he was a four-year starter at several positions along the offensive line. He earned various All-American and All-MAC honors during his college career. His senior season in 2014, he won the Vern Smith Leadership Award, which is given to the best player in the MAC. Mancz went undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft and signed with the Texans shortly thereafter. Due to a season-ending injury to Nick Martin, Mancz was the Texans' starting center for the entire 2016 season.
