Sheray Thomas (born October 4, 1984) is a male Canadian basketball player who plays as a forward, currently for the Montreal Jazz of the National Basketball League of Canada. [1] He ended up in seventh place with the Canada national men's basketball team at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Sheray Thomas son of Darcelle Thomas and Robert Fields, was born in Montreal, Quebec. He has one sister named Chelsea Fields

The 1976 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXI Olympiad and commonly known as Montréal 1976, were an international multi-sport event held from July 17 to August 1, 1976, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. James Naismith was a Canadian-American physical educator, physician, Christian chaplain, sports coach, and inventor of the game of basketball. After moving to the United States, he wrote the original basketball rule book and founded the University of Kansas basketball program. Naismith lived to see basketball adopted as an Olympic demonstration sport in 1904 and as an official event at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, as well as the birth of the National Invitation Tournament (1938) and the NCAA Tournament (1939).

Bill Wennington Canadian basketball player

William Percey Wennington is a Canadian former professional basketball player who won three National Basketball Association (NBA) championships with the Chicago Bulls. A center, he represented Canada in the 1984 Olympics and 1983 World University Games, where the team won gold. He was also on the Canadian team that narrowly missed qualification for the 1992 Olympics. Wennington has been inducted into the Quebec Basketball Hall of Fame and the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame.

Dwight Walton is a former basketball player from Canada, who played at Dawson College in Montreal with teammates Trevor C. Williams, Wayne Yearwood and Boyd Bailey. He later would go on to join the Canadian National Team. Before Dawson college, Dwight Walton play basketball at Wagar High School in Côte Saint-Luc, Quebec. After starring at Dawson College and receiving All-Canadian honours he went on to become an All-American at the Florida Institute of Technology, an NCAA Division II basketball program, after starring at NCAA Division I Siena College.

He completed his high school career at the Athlete Institute in Mono, Ontario, where he was rated as high as a five-star recruit and was one of the top high school players in Canada. In his first year with Arizona State, he earned second-team All-Pac-12 Conference honors and was named to the all-defensive team in the Pac-12.
