Ikki Tousen, also known as Battle Vixens in North America, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūji Shiozaki. Loosely based on the classic 14th century Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the series revolves around an all-out turf war in the Kantō region of Japan where fighters known as Tōshi from seven schools battle for supremacy. The story centers on Hakufu Sonsaku, a fighter who transfers to Nanyo Academy, one of the seven schools involved in the turf war.

A second season, titled Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny, aired 12 episodes on AT-X between February 26, 2007 and May 14, 2007, with subsequent broadcasts on Chiba TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Kanagawa, Tokyo MX, Sun Television, TV Aichi, and TV Saitama. A third season, titled Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians, aired 12 episodes on AT-X between June 11 and August 27, 2008, with subsequent broadcasts on Chiba TV, TV Saitama, TV Aichi, TV Kanagawa, Sun Television, and Tokyo MX. Produced by ARMS, the series is directed by Koichi Ohata, series composition by Masanao Akahoshi, music by Yasuharu Takanashi, characters by Rin Shin, and produced by Hisato Usui, Nobusaku Tanaka, Osamu Ecchu, Takuro Hatakeyama, and Yasuhiro Mikami. The opening theme is "No x limit" by Ami while the ending theme is "Kage: Shape of Shadow" by Rio Asaba. The series was licensed by Media Blasters, as with the second season, but it is now licensed by Funimation Entertainment after they withdrew the license.

A fourth season, titled Ikki Tousen: Xtreme Xecutor, was announced. Produced by TNK and ARMS, the series is directed and written by Koichi Ohata, music by Yasuharu Takanashi, characters by Rin Shin and Junji Goto, and produced by Hiromasa Minami, Hisato Usui, Keisuke Kawai, Shinsaku Tanaka, and Takuro Hatakeyama. The series aired twelve episodes on AT-X between March 26 and June 11, 2010, with subsequent broadcasts on Chiba TV, TVK, TV Saitama, Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, and Sun Television. The opening theme is "Stargazer" by Yuka Masuda while the ending theme is "Endless Soul: Endless Warrior" by Masumi Asano and Aya Endo. Xtreme Xecutor is licensed in North America by Funimation Entertainment, as with the first and third seasons.

Several of her songs have been used as openings and endings of anime and radio dramas. She has also written the screenplays of various anime series under the alias of Deko Akao, including Noragami, Frame Arms Girl and After the Rain.
Golden Kamuy is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Satoru Noda. It was serialized in Shueisha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump from August 2014 to April 2022, with its chapters collected in thirty-one tankōbon volumes. The story follows Saichi Sugimoto, a veteran of the early twentieth-century Russo-Japanese War, and his quest to find a huge fortune of gold of the Ainu people, helped by a young Ainu girl named Asirpa. The Ainu language in the story is supervised by Hiroshi Nakagawa, an Ainu language linguist from Chiba University.

Since Happy Lesson, he has been in charge of screenwriting for many series, some of which are Elfen Lied, Your Lie in April, High School DxD, Horimiya, and The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments.
Touko Machida is a Japanese anime screenwriter. She debuted as a screenwriter in 2001, and in 2006 got to become the lead screenwriter for the first time with Ramen Fighter Miki. Since Ramen Fighter Miki, she has done screenwriting for many works, such as Lucky Star, Show by Rock!!, and Battle Game in 5 Seconds.

The opening theme is "Drivin' Through The Night" by M.o.v.e while the two ending themes are "Let me be with you" by Shela for episodes 1-7, and Fate by Masumi Asano for episodes 8-13. The series was licensed in North America by Geneon Entertainment and Enoki Films. Funimation Entertainment now licenses the series. The series is also licensed in Australia and New Zealand by Madman Entertainment and in the United Kingdom by MVM Films.
