Shinsuke Ogura (小椋 真介, Ogura Shinsuke, born 1 August 1980, Fukuoka, Fukuoka-ken) is a Japanese baseball player. He has been with the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks since 1999, and plays as pitcher, wearing number 16.

Fukuoka is the capital city of Fukuoka Prefecture, situated on the northern shore of the Japanese island of Kyushu. It is the most populous city on the island, followed by Kitakyushu. It is the largest city and metropolitan area west of Keihanshin. The city was designated on April 1, 1972, by government ordinance. Sadaharu Oh, also known as Wang Chen-chih, is a retired Chinese baseball player and manager in Japan. Oh holds the world lifetime home run record, having hit 868 home runs during his professional career. He established many NPB batting records, including runs batted in (RBIs) (2,170), slugging percentage (.634), bases on balls (2,390), and on-base plus slugging percentage (OPS) (1.080). In 1977, Oh became the first recipient of the People's Honour Award. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994.

Auctions in Japan. in October 30, 2019 was announced that the stadium was going to be named PayPay Dome, in reference to payment system owned by Softbank (50%) and Yahoo Japan (25%), from February 29, 2020.

The best-of-seven playoff was won by the Pacific League champion Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks in five games over the Central League champion Hanshin Tigers. The series began on Saturday, October 25, 2014 and ended on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Fukuoka Dome in Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture.
