Lata Mangeshkar ([ləˈtaː məŋˈɡeːʃkər] is an Indian playback singer and music director. She is one of the best-known and most respected playback singers in India. She has recorded songs in over a thousand Hindi films and has sung songs in over thirty-six regional Indian languages and foreign languages, though primarily in Marathi, Hindi, Bengali and Assamese.

Rahul Dev Burman was an Indian music director. He is often regarded as one of the most predominant musical forces that Indian cinema has ever witnessed. From the 1960s to the 1990s, Burman composed musical scores for 331 films. Burman did major work with his wife, Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar and scored many of the songs that made these singers famous.
