Prakash Nanjappa is an Indian shooter who competes in the 10 metre air pistol and 50 metre pistol events. He was the only Indian to win a medal in the 2013 ISSF World Cup, when he won bronze with a very minor difference between the second place in 10 metre air pistol event in Changwon, South Korea. In the same event, he won the silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The Women's 25 metre air pistol took place on 26 July 2014 at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre. There was a qualification in which the top 8 athletes qualified for the finals.

The Women's double trap took place on 27 July 2014 at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre. There was a qualification in which the top 8 athletes qualified for the finals.

The Men's double trap took place on 27 July 2014 at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre. There was a qualification in which the top 8 athletes qualified for the finals.

The Men's trap event took place on 28 and 29 July 2014 at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre. There was a qualification to determine the final participants. The two rounds of qualification were held on 28 July and the last three rounds of qualification, the semifinals and the finals were held on 29 July.
