Short Hand Operation is the third and final studio album by American christian punk band Ninety Pound Wuss, released in 1999 through Tooth & Nail Records. The album showcases a much more atmospheric side of the band, featuring the use of synthesizers. Jeff Suffering, vocalist of the band, was very satisfied with the record and considers it as the "best record [he'll] ever record". [3]

Andrew Wood (singer) American musician and singer

Andrew Patrick Wood was an American musician. He was the lead singer and lyricist for the alternative rock bands Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. Wood formed Malfunkshun in 1980 with his older brother Kevin Wood on guitar and Regan Hagar on drums. The band used alter ego personas onstage, with Wood using the name Landrew the Love Child. Though the band only had two songs released, "With Yo' Heart " and "Stars-n-You", on the Deep Six compilation album, they are often cited as being among the "founding fathers" of the Seattle grunge movement. During his time in Malfunkshun, Wood started relying heavily on drugs, entering rehab in 1985.

Tooth & Nail Records is a Christian rock record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle, Washington where it is situated today. It is home to many well-known musical acts, including Underoath, Hawk Nelson, Emery, The Almost, FM Static, Family Force 5, Anberlin, and MxPx.

Onslaught (band)

Onslaught are a British thrash metal band from Bristol, England, active from 1982 to 1991 and again since 2005. The band initially drew influence from US and British hardcore punk bands such as Discharge and The Exploited, and then adopted a straightforward thrash metal sound. They have been recognised as pioneers of the British thrash metal scene, and have been referred to as one of the country's so-called "big four", along with Sabbat, Xentrix and Acid Reign. To date, Onslaught have released seven studio albums, one compilation, four singles and two live recordings: a live album and a live DVD.

Jeff Suffering, is the former lead singer of Ninety Pound Wuss, Raft of Dead Monkeys, and Suffering and the Hideous Thieves. Suffering also played bass in Team Strike Force a worship band that was part of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington where he served as a Pastor for Biblical Living | Arts Ministry until 2013. He is currently working on a project called "DRYBNZ" with Joe Mendonca.

Nevermore American heavy metal band

Nevermore was an American heavy metal band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1991. The band has been inactive since 2011, due to personal issues between the band members. In April 2015, lead singer Warrel Dane confirmed that Nevermore had not disbanded, and there was a possibility for them to continue in the next two years with another album. However, Dane died in December 2017; this ended hopes of a reunion.

Yuri Ruley, drummer of MxPx, worked as a drum technician on the record. The track "Something Must Break" is considered as the band's most popular song, as it appeared on multiple compilation albums and even has a music video.
