Shuja Asad (born 19 September 1994) is a Pakistani actor and model. [2] [3] He is known for his role in coming-of-age drama College Gate (2023) and revenge saga Khaie (2024). [4]
Shuja was born in Karachi at Pakistan. [5] He completed his early education from City School then he moved to Murree and there he attended Lawrence College Murree later he returned and studied O-levels at a Private School. [5]
He attended acting workshops and online classes to learn acting. [6]
He went to several production organizations for audition but he would be rejected because of his looks and misaligned teeth later he losed some weight and got braces to aligned his teeth. [7] [8] [9]
Shuja started his career from commercials and advertisements. In 2021, he made his acting debut with a role of Shahryar in webseries Free Fire Academy. [5] In 2022 he acted in drama Pyar Deewangi Hai as Mateen. [10] Later he appeared in Dino Ali's music video Main Aur Tum with Faryal Mehmood. [11]
The following year, he appeared as Ahmer in Bandish 2, as Azmir in drama Fitna, [12] [13] as Bilal in College Gate , [14] and as a cameo role of Imad in Gumn. [11] In an interview with FUCHSIA, he revealed Gumn was his first television project shot in 2021 followed by a role in College Gate, however, due to launch of both of the series broadcasting channel, Green Entertainment they were released in 2023 thus making Pyar Deewangi Hai his first screen appearance as an actor.
In 2024, he appeared in the drama Khaie on Geo Entertainment. [15] [1]
