Sian Adey-Jones (born December 1957) is a Welsh glamour model and beauty pageant titleholder.

Adey-Jones was born at Bodfari, Denbighshire, Wales. She won the Miss Wales title in 1976 and was second runner-up in Miss Universe 1976. [1] She then finished first runner-up in Miss United Kingdom 1976 behind Carol Grant, [2] who as Miss Scotland had finished one place behind Adey-Jones at the Miss Universe contest. Adey-Jones also took part in Miss International 1977, competing as Miss Britain. [3]

She subsequently turned to topless modelling, regularly appearing as a Page 3 girl in The Sun newspaper, as well as a rare fully nude appearance in the September 1983 edition of Mayfair (vol.18, #9). She also had a background role in the 1985 Bond movie A View to a Kill . [4]

In 1978, to celebrate Britain's only team to qualify for the Argentina World Cup, she appeared in the Daily Mirror wearing just a Scotland football shirt.

She now lives on the island of Ibiza with her Italian husband Rocco. She has a son Dylan (born 1993) and adopted daughter Tallulah.[ citation needed ]

Unlike its sister pageants Miss Universe, which currently broadcasts on JKN18 and like its sister pageant Miss USA, it is televised on The CW television network starting in 2024, after being streamed online for several years. The Miss Universe Organization previously operated Miss Teen USA, as well as Miss USA, until 2020 when the rights to produce both pageants were licensed to Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart prior to her suspension in October 2022, thus returning the said pageants to the Miss Universe Organization. The parent company of all three pageants and the Miss Universe organization remains the same under the licensing agreement: JKN Metaverse Inc., a subsidiary of JKN Global Group.

Miss Europe 2017 is an international beauty pageant, which was held on May 13, 2017 in Seoul, South Korea, where representatives of 35 countries were competing for the title of the first beauty. The crown and the title “Miss Europe 2017” was given to the contestant from Latvia, 26 years old Diana Kubasova. This was 60th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the second under the Miss Europe Organization.

Miss Europe 1976 was the 38th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the 27th edition under the Mondial Events Organization. It was held at the Castle of the Knights of St. John in Rhodes City, Rhodes Island, South Aegean, Greece on 5 June 1976. Riitta Inkeri Väisänen of Finland, was crowned Miss Europe 1976 by outgoing titleholder Maria Isabel "Maribel" Lorenzo Saavedra of Spain. The 1976 contest was held two years after the previous one instead of one year due to the 1975 contest being cancelled. The 1975 contest was originally scheduled to take place in Beirut, Lebanon but was cancelled due to the Lebanese Civil War.
