Silvia Tcherassi (born 21 August 1965) is a Miami-based, fashion designer, born in Barranquilla, Atlantico, Colombia. [1]
Silvia Tcherassi was born on August 21, 1965, in Barranquilla, Colombia. She started her artistic career as an interior designer and transitioned to fashion design. Tcherassi is married to Mauricio Espinosa and had two children, Sofia and Mauricio. Her daughter followed her mother steps and studies in Parsons School of Design. Her atelier is located in Miami, Florida.
Tcherassi has been described as "revolutionizing the Latin American fashion scene in a definitive way." [2] Elle has described her dresses as "tempting". [3] She once said, "My creations are absolutely designed to serve a woman, from 18 to 50 years old." [2] Silvia Tcherassi has boutiques in the United States, Spain and Colombia. Initial ballot results gave victory to his contender Ventura Díaz Mejía, but after a lengthy and often criticized process, the Administrative Supreme Court of Colombia reviewed the election results and found Char to be rightful winner of the race and allowed him to serve the remaining period of his term in 2003.

Sinfonia Latina is a Colombian rock concert and music festival. It was named after the opus Sinfonia Latina , which was subsequently transformed into a festival. The first concert occurred on May 7, 1976, at 8 PM in Barranquilla, Colombia at the municipal theater "Amira de la Rosa". The event attracted audiences of 3,000 inside the structure. An estimated 4,000 people remained outside unable to enter the theater under construction. Billed as a musical Supershow in Barranquilla, Sinfonia Latina was composed, directed, and conducted by Roberto McCausland Dieppa. Stemming from the rock music revolution of the time, the supershow was part of the avant-garde counterculture movement.
