Simeon is an unincorporated community in Cherry County, Nebraska, United States. [1]
A post office was established at Simeon in 1884, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1953. [2] Simeon was named for Simeon Mortgareidge, a rancher. [3]

The Snake River is a 126-mile-long (203 km) tributary of the Niobrara River.
