Lancashire County Cricket Club represents the historic county of Lancashire in English cricket. The club has held first-class status since it was founded in 1864. Lancashire's home is Old Trafford Cricket Ground,although the team also play matches at other grounds around the county. Karl Robert Brown is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler who played for Lancashire until 2018. Brown made his first-class debut in 2006 and his list A debut the following year. Between 2005 and 2007,Brown played 15 Youth One Day Internationals. In 2011,Brown scored his maiden centuries in first-class and list A cricket and debuted for Lancashire in twenty20s.
Gareth David Cross is an English cricketer who plays as a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who occasionally bowls right arm medium-fast. He played for Lancashire from 2005 until his release in 2013,and the following year signed for Derbyshire. Steven John Croft is an English first-class cricketer who has played for Lancashire County Cricket Club since 2005. He bats right-handed and can bowl both medium-fast and off breaks. In 2008 Croft was given the Lancashire members' Player of the Year and One-Day Player of the Year awards. In 2008/09 he played for the Auckland Aces in New Zealand as an overseas player. Awarded his Lancashire cap in 2010,Croft was part of the Lancashire team that won the County Championship in 2011.
Philip John Whitcombe was an English first-class cricketer who played 34 matches between 1949 and 1953. 26 of these were for Oxford University,and eight for Worcestershire. He was a wicket-keeper,though he did play in some games as a batsman only. He died in July 2008,at the age of 79.
Simon Mark Hewitt is an English-born former French first-class cricketer. A right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler,he played more than 100 times for the France national cricket team between 1989 and 2001,most of the time captaining the side,having previously played for Oxford University. His brother Steven played cricket for Cambridge University.

Fred Demetrius Beattie was an English cricketer. Beattie was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born at Ashton upon Mersey,Cheshire and attended Rossall Preparatory School in 1919 before joining the main Rossall School,where he was in Pelican House. He left Rossall in 1927 after playing in the cricket eleven in his final two years.
