Simon Beyeler

Simon Beyeler (born 11 June 1982 in Bern) is a Swiss sport shooter. [1] At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's 10 metre air rifle. [2] In the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed in the Men's 10 metre air rifle and the Men's 50 metre rifle 3 positions. [3] [4]

Irene Beyeler is a Swiss sport shooter. Beyeler represented Switzerland at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed in rifle shooting events, along with her brother and teammate Simon Beyeler. She placed sixteenth out of forty-seven shooters in the women's 10 m air rifle by one point behind United States' Emily Caruso from the third attempt, with a total score of 395 points. Nearly a week later, Beyeler competed for her second event, 50 m rifle 3 positions, where she was able to shoot 195 targets in a prone position, 188 in standing, and 194 in kneeling, for a total score of 577 points, finishing only in twenty-third place.

Oman competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when the event was held from 5 to 21 August 2016. This was the nation's ninth consecutive appearance at the Summer Olympics. Four Omani athletes, two men and two women, were selected to compete in athletics and shooting at the Games. Among them were sprinter Barakat Al-Harthi, the lone returning Olympian from the previous Games.
