Simon Bryant (born 14 February 1965, Exeter, Devon, England) is an Australian chef. Bryant featured alongside South Australian Maggie Beer on the ABC program The Cook and the Chef . The show aired more than 150 episodes over four years, attracting more than 600,000 viewers nationally per week. [1]

Bryant was with Hilton Adelaide for more than 10 years, commencing as a Commis Chef, followed by 18 months as a Chef de Partie in 'The Grange' with Cheong Liew and rapidly working his way up to Senior Sous Chef of 'The Brasserie'. [2] [3] 'The Brasserie' was his break, where he was promoted to Executive Chef overseeing 33 staff, 2 of the state's leading restaurants, a quick service deli, and as South Australia's largest hotel, the largest catering and room service operations in the state. [4]

Cheong Liew is a Malaysian-born Australian chef. He moved from Malaysia to Australia in 1969 to study electrical engineering, but instead became a chef.

Adelaide Casino, known commercially as SkyCity Adelaide, is a large casino and recreational venue on the north edge of the Adelaide city centre. Located in the heritage-listed Adelaide railway station building on North Terrace, Adelaide, the casino has 90 gaming tables and 950 gaming machines, as well as several bars, function areas and restaurants. Operated as part of the SkyCity Entertainment Group, it is the sole licensed casino in South Australia, regulated by the Independent Gambling Authority and the Liquor and Gambling Commissioner under the Casino Act 1997.

Each year the event attracts more than 200 national and international journalists and around 50,000 visitors.

Natalie von Bertouch (netball) Australia netball international

Natalie von Bertouch, also known as Natalie Bode, is a former Australia netball international. Between 2004 and 2012 she made 76 senior appearances for Australia. Bertouch was a member of the Australia teams that won the gold medals at the 2007 and 2011 World Netball Championships. She captained Australia at the latter tournament. She was also a member of the Australia teams that won the silver medals at the 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games. At club level, Bertouch captained Adelaide Thunderbirds to two ANZ Championship titles in 2010 and 2013. Her older sister, Laura von Bertouch is also a former netball player. The two sisters were team mates with both Thunderbirds and Australia.

Maggie Beer is an Australian chef, food author, restaurateur, and food manufacturer. Beer is one of the judges on The Great Australian Bake Off alongside Matt Moran and is also a regular guest on MasterChef Australia.

St Michael's College is a Catholic school located in the western suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The college consists of two campuses; a primary campus located at Beverley for students in Reception to Year 6, and a secondary campus at Henley Beach for students in Year 7 to Year 12.
