Squash, sometimes called squash rackets, is a racket-and-ball sport played by two (singles) or four players (doubles) in a four-walled court with a small, hollow, rubber ball. The players alternate in striking the ball with their rackets onto the playable surfaces of the four walls of the court. The objective of the game is to hit the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. There are about 20 million people who play squash regularly world-wide in over 185 countries. The governing body of squash, the World Squash Federation (WSF), is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and the sport is included in the Olympic Games, after a number of applications. Squash has been added for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. The Professional Squash Association (PSA) organizes the pro tour.
Brett Martin is a former professional squash player who was among the game's leading players in the late-1980s and early-1990s. Brett was part of the winning Australian team at the 1989 Men's World Team Squash Championships and 1991 Men's World Team Squash Championships and was also a runner-up in the 1993 Men's World Team Squash Championships. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 2 in 1994.

Simon Rösner is a German former professional squash player. He broke into the Top 10 PSA World Rankings for the first time in November 2014, going on to become the highest-ranked male German player of all time. Rosner subsequently reached a world ranking of No. 6 matching Germany's Sabine Schone's career-high world ranking of No. 6 in June 2015. Rosner broke into the world Top 5 in June 2018 and Top 3 in December 2018 making him the highest-ever-ranked German player.
Tom Richards is a retired Professional Squash player on the PSA World Tour who represented England. He reached a career-high World ranking of No. 12, winning a total of 6 PSA Titles. At the age of 25, Richards was a member of the England Elite squad and a full England International, winning the European Team Championships in 2012, 2016 and 2019.
Daryl Selby is a former professional squash player who represented England. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 9 in April 2010. His sister is professional squash player Lauren Selby. He attended Brentwood School, Essex as his secondary school between 1994 and 2001.

Alan Clyne is a Scottish former professional squash player. As of 2021, he was ranked at No. 38 in the world. He has won the Scottish National title ten times. He represented his country in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in both singles and doubles, and is the current Scottish number one, following in the footsteps of greats such as Peter Nicol and John White.
Martin Knight is a New Zealand professional squash player. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 38 in March 2010. He won a bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2006 World Doubles and a silver medal in the mixed doubles at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

The 2015 PSA Men's World Squash Championship is the men's edition of the 2015 World Championship, which serves as the individual world championship for squash players. The event took place in Bellevue, Washington in the United States from 15 to 22 November 2015. Grégory Gaultier won his first World Championship title, defeating Omar Mosaad in the final.
Lance Beddoes is a New Zealand professional squash player. He attended Massey High School in West Auckland from 2006 to 2010. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 89 in November 2015. He has represented New Zealand in two Commonwealth Games, Glasgow in 2014 and Gold Coast 2018.
Squash Australia is the national organisation for squash in Australia, as recognised by the Professional Squash Association and the World Squash Federation. It was founded in 1934 and is based in Brisbane.[3] It organises and/or oversees many professional tournaments each year, along with many other official squash events.
