Michael John Clarke is an Australian cricket commentator and former cricketer. He led Australia to their 5th Cricket World Cup triumph, when his team were victorious in the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at the MCG against New Zealand. He is regarded as one of the best batsmen of his generation.
Dean Mervyn Jones was an Australian cricket player, coach and commentator who played Tests and One Day Internationals (ODIs) for Australia. He had an excellent record in Test cricket and is best remembered for his batting and fielding in the ODI format. Through the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was regarded among the best ODI batsmen in the world, a view which has been validated in the retrospective ICC Player Rankings. His batting was characterised by his nimble footwork against both pace and spin, quick running between wickets and willingness to take risks. In 2019, Jones was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame. He died of cardiac arrest on 24 September 2020 at age 59.
Awarded during the Australian Cricket Awards, the Allan Border Medal is considered to be the most prestigious individual prize in Australian men's cricket. First awarded in 2000, the medal is named after former Australian men's captain Allan Border and recognises the most outstanding male Australian cricketer of the past season as voted by his peers, the media and umpires. Votes are cast after each game on a 3–2–1 basis, with a weighting applied to give both One Day International and Test players an equal chance of winning the award.

Simon John Birmingham is an Australian politician who has served as a Senator for South Australia since 2007. He is a member of the Liberal Party and has been Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment in the Morrison Government since 2018. He previously served as Minister for Education and Training in the Turnbull Government from 2015 to 2018, and as a parliamentary secretary and assistant minister in the Abbott Government.
Patrick James Cummins is an Australian international cricketer who is currently the co-vice-captain of the Australia national team in all formats. He made his Test debut at the age of 18 and plays domestic cricket for New South Wales. Cummins is a fast bowler and a capable lower-order right-handed batsman. In January 2020, Cummins was named as the Test Cricketer of the Year by the International Cricket Council (ICC). In April 2020 he was named as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year for his performances in the 2019 English season in the 2020 edition of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack.

The 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup was the seventh ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament. It was held in Australia between 21 February and 8 March 2020. The final took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on International Women's Day. Hosts Australia won the tournament, beating India by 85 runs, to win their fifth title.
Robert Rees was an Australian cricketer. He played in thirteen first-class matches for South Australia between 1903 and 1913.
