Sione Finefeuiaki (born 2 November 1979) is a Tongan former professional rugby league footballer who last played in the Newcastle Rugby League competition, as a prop.
Finefeuiaki was born in Tonga, and lived in his native country until the age of 16. Finefeuiaki played rugby union at Liahona High School, as rugby league was not played. [2] After moving to New Zealand, he played rugby union for Otahuhu in 1998, picking up the under 21s player of the year award. Moving to Marist in 1999, he then played rugby league in 2000 for Pakuranga, moving to Hibiscus Coast Raiders in 2001. [2]
Finefeuiaki was signed by the Sydney Roosters, playing in reserve grade in 2001. [2] An ankle injury late in 2001 forced him to miss the entire 2002 season. [2]
Returning to New Zealand, Finefeuiaki rejoined the Hibiscus Coast Raiders in the Bartercard Cup competition, where he attracted the attention of Melbourne Storm recruitment manager Peter O'Sullivan who invited him to join Melbourne's pre-season program ahead of the 2004 NRL season. He signed a contract with Melbourne until the end of the 2005 season, but failed to make a single appearance for the Storm before joining the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, making one appearance in the National Rugby League competition in 2007.[ citation needed ]
Finefeuiaki was announced to be the strongest man in league at the time,[ citation needed ] possibly because he finished third in the South Pacific Body Building Championships during his injury rehabilitation in 2002. [2]
Matthew Orford, also known by the nickname of "The Ox", is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played for the Erina Eagles as a junior. A City New South Wales representative halfback, he played the majority of his club football career in Australia for National Rugby League clubs Melbourne Storm and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, representing the latter when he won 2008's Dally M Medal and NRL premiership. Orford also played for NRL sides Northern Eagles and Canberra Raiders, as well as in Super League for England's Bradford Bulls.
Feleti Sosefo Mateo is a former Tonga international rugby league footballer. He played a variety of positions from lock, second-row and five-eighth. Mateo was also selected to represent NSW City Origin and the NRL All Stars. He last played for English club Salford Red Devils of Super League in 2016. Before that, he played for Sydney club the Parramatta Eels between 2004 and 2010. He also played for the New Zealand Warriors between 2011 and 2014, and the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in 2015 and 2016 before moving back to England and finishing his top-level career with Salford. Mateo was renowned for his versatility and extravagant style of play.

It is responsible for rugby league in the region, including both club and school rugby league. It began in 1910 when the first season of club league in Auckland occurred. Brent Kite is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. A Tonga and Australia international, and New South Wales State of Origin representative front-row forward, he played club football for the St. George Illawarra Dragons, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and Penrith Panthers. Kite was named the Clive Churchill Medallist for his performance in the 2008 NRL Grand Final, in which he helped steer Manly-Warringah to a 40–0 thumping of the Melbourne Storm, scoring a try.
Michael Robertson is a former Scotland international rugby league footballer. His usual position was on the wing but he could also play as a fullback with equal ability. He played for the London Broncos in the Super League, and the Canberra Raiders and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the NRL. He was considered a player with natural pace and try scoring ability.
Matthew Ballin is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Wests Tigers in the National Rugby League and also the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. Ballin is the current head coach for the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles which is the feeder team playing in the NSW Cup Competition, prior to that he was the Under 20s Head Coach. He has played one game for Queensland in State of Origin. He played at hooker and previously played for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, with whom he won the 2008 and 2011 Premierships.
