Moses Siphosezwe Amos Masango is a South African politician who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly from 2014 to 2019,during which time he chaired the Portfolio Committee on International Relations and Cooperation. Before that,he served in the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature and also sat on the Mpumalanga Executive Council.
Masango is a member of the African National Congress (ANC) and served as the party's Deputy Provincial Secretary in Mpumalanga from 1999 to 2002. [1] He also served in the Mpumalanga Executive Council prior to 2004 [2] and ahead of the 2004 general election he was ranked first in the ANC's internal candidate selection process,receiving more nominations than even the outgoing Premier,Ndaweni Mahlangu. [3] After the election,he was retained in the Executive Council by Mahlangu's successor,Premier Thabang Makwetla,who appointed him as Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Education. [2] He remained in that position until May 2008,when he was moved to a new portfolio as MEC for Safety and Security. [4]
He was re-elected to another term in the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature in the 2009 general election,ranked ninth on the ANC's provincial party list. [5] However,he was not initially appointed to the Executive Council of newly elected Premier David Mabuza. [6] Instead,he served as an ordinary Member of the Provincial Legislature until 3 November 2010,when Mabuza announced a reshuffle which saw Masango return to the Executive Council as MEC for Human Settlements. [7] [8] He remained in that position until Mabuza's second reshuffle,announced on 18 February 2013,in which he was fired for "poor performance". [9]
In the 2014 general election,Masango was elected to an ANC seat in the National Assembly,the lower house of the South African Parliament;he was ranked 91st on the ANC's national party list. [10] During the legislative term that followed,he chaired the Portfolio Committee on International Relations and Cooperation. [10] He did not stand for re-election to Parliament in 2019. [10]
In 2013 and 2014,Masango appeared in court on charges of assault and intimidation:a man alleged that he and two of his bodyguards had assaulted him at Nkomazi toll plaza in July 2012. [11]
Vusumuzi Robert Shongwe is a South African politician who has served in the provincial legislature and Executive Council in Mpumalanga province. Between September and November 2015,he served as acting Premier of Mpumalanga while Premier David Mabuza was on sick leave. He is a member of the African National Congress and was formerly treasurer of the party's provincial executive committee in Mpumalanga.
Sasekani Janet Manzini is a South African politician who currently serves as the MEC for Health in the Mpumalanga provincial government,appointed in July 2018 as well as the Provincial spokesperson of the African National Congress (ANC) in Mpumalanga. She was elected to serve on the ANC's provincial executive committee (PEC) in December 2015 from the position of provincial African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) secretary. Manzini served as the MEC for the provincial Department of Public Works,Roads and Transport from August 2016 to July 2018. She has been a member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature since February 2016.
Yvonne Nkwenkwezi "Pinky" Phosa is a South African politician who served as a Member of the National Assembly for the African National Congress from 2014 until 2019. She was the chairperson of parliament's Standing Committee on Appropriations from 2016 until 2019. Before her election to Parliament,she served in the Mpumalanga provincial government. Phosa is the wife of former ANC treasurer-general and previous Mpumalanga premier Mathews Phosa.
Petrus Simon Ngomane,known as Pat Ngomane,is a South African politician. A member of the African National Congress,he was elected to the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature in May 2014. He served as the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Community Safety,Security and Liaison from August 2016 until May 2019,when he was appointed MEC for Finance,Economic Development and Tourism. Ngomane served in the position until an executive council reshuffle in February 2021.
Mohita Latchminarain is a South African politician from Mpumalanga who served as the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for the Mpumalanga Department of Public Works,Roads and Transport from February 2021 until October 2022. She has been a Member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature since May 2019. Latchminarain is a member of the governing African National Congress.
Mandla Ndlovu is a South African politician who has been Mpumalanga's Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Public Works,Roads and Transport since October 2022. He previously served as the MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs May 2022 until October 2022. He has been a member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature since May 2022. Ndlovu is the provincial chairperson of the African National Congress in Mpumalanga.

Between those terms,he served in the Executive Council of Mpumalanga as Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Health and Social Development and MEC for Economic Development and Planning (2005–2007) before he was fired by Premier Thabang Makwetla in May 2008. She previously served in the Executive Council of Mpumalanga as Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Culture,Sport and Recreation from 2014 to 2018 and MEC for Human Settlements from 2018 to 2021.

She was formerly Mpumalanga's Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Community Safety,Security and Liaison from May 2019 to February 2021.
Butana Moses Komphela was a South African politician who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly and Free State Provincial Legislature until 2019. He served as the Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Sports,Arts and Culture and after that he held several positions in the Free State Executive Council from 2011 to 2019. He died of COVID-19-related illness in 2022.

Nomsa Sammy Mtsweni is a South African politician who has represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature and the National Assembly,including as a Member of the Mpumalanga Executive Council from 2004 to 2007 and from 2014 to 2016. She has also served as Mayor of Thembisile Hani Local Municipality and Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality.
Dumisile Goodness Nhlengethwa was a South African politician who served as Mpumalanga's Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Public Works,Roads and Transport from May 2014 to August 2016. Prior to her time in the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature,she represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly from 2009 to 2014.

She served in Premier Ndaweni Mahlangu's government as MEC for Social Services from 1999 to 2003 and as MEC for Health from 2003 to 2004,and then in Premier Thabang Makwetla's government as MEC for Finance from 2004 to 2008 and as MEC for Education from 2008 to 2009.
