Siri Dokken (born 5 July 1966) is a Norwegian illustrator.
Dokken was born in Bærum, and attended the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry. She worked for the newspaper Dag og Tid from 1994 and then for Dagsavisen since 1995. [1] She won the Swedish EWK Prize in 2005 [2] and the Editorial Cartoon of the Year award in 2007 and 2011. [3]
Dokken is an American glam metal band formed in 1979. It split up in 1989 and reformed four years later. The band had many charting singles like and have sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. The live album Beast from the East was nominated for the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1989.

The name Siri has been widely used since the Middle Ages, and is a common name in Norway, Sweden and the Faroe Islands. It was common in Norway until the 18th century, when its usage declined, but saw new high popularity in the 20th century. In Sweden the name gained new popularity around 1900, and has again become increasingly popular in the last years. The Faroese spelling of the name is Sirið; the ð is not pronounced. The other spelling without ð is also common. To a lesser extent it is also used in Denmark.
