Theodosia "Sissy" Christidou (born September 12, 1980) is a Greek television host and YouTuber. Born and raised Thessaloniki, studied in Music High School and at the age of 21 she started working as TV host in a small Macedonian channel named "TV 100". She has also hosted "Agrotis monos psaxnei", a weekly show on Alpha TV. [1] She was co-hosting the morning show "Mes Tin Kali Hara" on Alpha TV but she moved to ANT1 to co-host the daily morning show Proino ANT1 with Giorgos Papadakis and Christos Ferentinos. From 2018 she is hosting the weekend show "Ela Xamogela (Έλα Χαμόγελα)" on Open TV.

Life and career

Christidou was born in Thessaloniki to Mina and Thodoris Christidis. She has a brother named Giannis. She studied in Music High School and at the age of 21 started working as TV host in a small Macedonian channel named "TV 100". She hosted "Agrotis monos psaxnei", a weekly show on Alpha TV. [2] She was co-hosting the morning show "Mes Tin Kali Hara" on Alpha TV but she moved to ANT1 to co-host the daily morning show Proino ANT1 with Giorgos Papadakis and Christos Ferentinos. Since 2014, she designs and sells clothes on her website, www.sissychristidou.com.

Personal life

In 2005, Christidou began dating the singer of Onirama, Thodoris Marantinis. On August 13, 2008, she gave birth to their first son, Philipos-Rafael and one year later, on August 16, 2009, they got married. On August 29, 2013, she gave birth to their second son, Michael-Aggelos. On April 23, 2019, Christidou and Marantinis announced that they were separating.

Rallia Christidou is a Greek politician and a popular singer originating from Neo Irakleio, Athens. She started her studies in classic guitar and received a diploma from the National music school of Greece. Greek Idol is a reality television competition to find new solo singing talent. Part of the Idol franchise, it is based on the British show Pop Idol created by Simon Fuller. The first season of the show debuted on March 5, 2010 on Alpha TV. The second season premiered on 19 February 2011. The show is broadcast simultaneously by Sigma TV in Cyprus.

To Proino is a Greek syndicated morning talk show hosted by Giorgos Liagkas. Currently in its 10th season, the show has aired on ANT1 as part of the network's daytime programming block since October 14, 2013, is broadcast live every weekday from 09:50 am to 13:00 pm. The programme features a variety of news, as well as news, tabloids, showbiz, lifestyle, home and garden, food, tech, astrology, competitions and live interviews.

The X Factor is a Greek and Cypriot television music competition to find new singing talent. The fifth series began airing on Skai TV and Sigma TV on April 27, 2017. Sakis Rouvas returned to present the main show on Skai TV for the fifth time and with Evagelia Aravani returned on Auditions Shows, Bootcamp, Chair Challenge and in Backstage at the Live Shows. Tamta was the only judge from the 4th series to return. Giorgos Mazonakis, Giorgos Papadopoulos and Babis Stokas are the new judges in the series, replacing George Theofanous, Peggy Zina and Thodoris Marantinis.

The Masked Singer is a Greek reality singing competition television series that premiered on Skai TV on 31 March 2022. It is part of the Masked Singer franchise which began in South Korea and features celebrities singing songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks concealing their identities. The show is hosted by Sakis Rouvas, the program employs panelists who guess the celebrities' identities by interpreting clues provided to them throughout each season. Elisavet Konstantinidou, Thodoris Marantinis, Nikos Moutsinas and Athina Oikonomakou appear in each episode and vote alongside an audience for their favorite singer after all perform. The least popular is eliminated, taking off their mask to reveal their identity. The first season ended on 2 July 2022 with actor Renos Haralambidis coming in first as "Minotavros" and singer Sarbel coming in second as "Moro".
