The Six Nations Rivermen are a Senior box lacrosse team. The team played in the City of Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada and participate in the OLA Senior B Lacrosse League. They are the defending 2015 Presidents Cup National Champions and two-time defending Ontario Lacrosse Association Senior B Champions.
The Rivermen were founded in 2001 as the Six Nations Crash, they were soon renamed the Mohawk Stars. The team sat out the 2012 season to reorganize and came back as the Rivermen.
Since returning as the Rivermen, the team has found its stride. In 2013, the Rivermen finished the season in second place with 11 wins and 5 losses. The Rivermen would beat the Norwood James Gang 3-straight in the semi-final, but were swept in 3 games by the eventual Presidents Cup champions, the St. Catharines Saints. [1]
In 2014, Six Nations would finish the season in third place with 11 wins and 5 losses. In the league quarter-final they would defeat the Sarnia Beavers 2-games-to-none and in the semi-final they would upset the defending national champions with a 3-games-to-none sweep. In the league final, the Rivermen would play the Ennismore James Gang, the first place team in the league, and beat them 3-games-to-1 to clinch the OLA championship. [2] With a berth into the Presidents Cup, the Rivermen would travel to Coquitlam, British Columbia to compete against the best of the country. They opened the tournament with a 14–12 loss to the Onondaga Redhawks and a 10–8 loss to the St. Albert Miners. The Rivermen came together in the next game and beat the Kahnawake Mohawks 9–8, then the Nanaimo Timbermen 8–5, Akwesasne Outlawz 14–9, and the Tri-City Bandits 9–7 to finish the round robin 4–2–0 and in fourth place. In the semi-final, the Rivermen would beat Kahnawake 8–4 to get to the finals. Despite leading most of the game, in the final the Onondaga Redhawks would come from behind to win the national title with a 9–7 win. [3] [4] [5] Warren Hill and Wayne VanEvery would be named to the all-star teams.
In 2015, the Rivermen would the regular season title, the OLA championship, and the Presidents Cup. After finishing in first place in the OSBLL with a record of 12 wins and 4 losses, the Rivermen would sweep both the Oakville Titans and the Brooklin Merchants with 3-game-sweeps. [6] The Rivermen then travelled to St. Catharines, Ontario to compete for the Presidents Cup for the second straight year. Six Nations began with a 14–4 win over the Rockyview Knights, then a 14–11 loss to the Snake Island Muskies, but the Rivermen would turn around their fortunes with a 15–7 win over the Nanaimo Timbermen. In the semi-final, the Rivermen would avenge their 2014 title loss with a 12–10 win over the Onondaga Redhawks, before beating the Capital Region Axemen 14–11 to take the national championship. [7]

The Windsor Clippers is a Canadian junior box lacrosse team and members of the Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League of the Ontario Lacrosse Association. The team, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, was known as the Windsor AKO Fratmen from 2003 until 2009 as they were sponsored by the AKO Fraternity.
The Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League (OJBLL) is a box lacrosse league sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association in Canada. The league features twenty-five teams in Ontario, one in Quebec, and one in the Akwesasne that annually play a 20-game schedule and four rounds of playoffs for the J. A. MacDonald Trophy. After the conclusion of the playoffs, a league champion represents the OJBLL at the Founders Cup National Junior B Championship.

Clay Hill is a professional box lacrosse player. He was a member of the National Lacrosse League's Buffalo Bandits for seven seasons, where he won a NLL Championship in 2008. He also played from 1997 until 2012 as a member of the Mann Cup-eligible Six Nations Chiefs. Now, late in his career, he plays in the semi-professional Canadian Lacrosse League during the winter and the OLA Senior B Lacrosse League in the summer.
The Can-Am Senior B Lacrosse League is a Senior-level box lacrosse league with teams in the Western New York and Central New York regions of New York State and southern Ontario in Canada, mostly on tribal reservations of the Iroquois Confederacy. Sanctioned by the First Nations Lacrosse Association, the champions of the Can-Am league compete for the Presidents Cup, the Canadian National Senior B championship. Can-Am teams have won the Presidents' Cup five times.

William Lloyd "Moon" Wootton was a Canadian professional box lacrosse goaltender. At the height of his career, Moon was considered by some to be the best lacrosse goaltender in Canada and by some to be the greatest lacrosse goaltender in history. He holds the distinction of winning five straight Mann Cup national championships, three Mann Cup most valuable player honours, and nine Ontario Senior A Championships in nine season of participation. He was entered into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in its first year of existence.
Leslie D. "Les" Norman was a Canadian professional and amateur box lacrosse goaltender. A long-time member of the New Westminster Salmonbellies franchise, Norman was a winner of three Mann Cups as a Canadian Lacrosse Champion, the 1968 National Lacrosse Association professional championship, and the 1965 Mann Cup's most valuable player. Norman was also the first goaltender to post a shutout in a Western Lacrosse Association game. Les Norman was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1989.
The First Nations Junior B Lacrosse League is a box lacrosse league sanctioned by the First Nations Lacrosse Association. The league was formed in 2014 with the restructuring of the Canadian Lacrosse Association. Four teams competed in the inaugural season.
The 2014 Presidents Cup is the National Senior "B" Championship of Canada. This year's tournament is being hosted by the Tri-City Bandits and the West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association. The Senior B national championship will be played at the Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
