A slant board is a flat surface set at an angle or slant. Such boards may be used for a variety of purposes.

Movies

Movie studios provide them for actors to rest on between performances to avoid wrinkling costumes. [1]

Exercise

There are two varieties for exercises:

  1. a long padded board which will accommodate the full length of the lying body
  2. a smaller wooden platform for standing upon.

The calf muscles or triceps surae may be stretched by a daily exercise of standing upon a slant board. [2]

Plan B Entertainment, Inc., more commonly known as Plan B, is an American production company founded in November in 2001 by Brad Grey, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. In 2005, after Pitt and Aniston divorced, Grey became the CEO of Paramount Pictures and Pitt became the sole owner of the company. The president of the company was for many years Dede Gardner, but she and Pitt named Jeremy Kleiner co-president with Gardner in 2013. An analogion is a lectern or slanted stand on which icons or the Gospel Book are placed for veneration by the faithful in the Eastern Orthodox Church and Eastern Catholic Churches. It may also be used as a lectern to read from liturgical books during the divine services.

93rd Academy Awards 2021 edition of the annual awards

The 93rd Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), honored the best films of 2020 and early 2021.
