Slavia was a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1997 by Jonas Raskolnikov Christiansen from Kongsberg in 1994 under the name of Dreygjarnir. They changed their name to Slavia in 1997. [1] The band was based in Bergen later when Christiansen moved there for university studies, and featured members from the bands like Taake, Deathcult, Disiplin, Enslaved and Black Flame.
Christiansen died of colon cancer that had spread to his liver, lungs and throat in December 2017. [2] With him being the only official recording and composing band member (all others were live and session musicians only), the band's existence ceased with his death.

Vlad Tepes was a French black metal band which was formed in Brest in 1993. The name originated from the 15th-century Wallachian ruler, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's fictional vampire Dracula. The group belongs to the Black Legions. Vorlok Drakksteim also has a side project named Black Murder, for which he is the composer, while Wlad Drakksteim is the composer for Vlad Tepes. Vlad Tepes were one of the Black Legions bands featured in the magazine The Black Plague - First Chapter in 1995.
Saw You Drown is an extended play released by Katatonia in 1998, limited to 1500 handnumbered copies. In 2005, it was re-issued on clear/blue wax 10" LP in 1000 hand-numbered copies.

Circle of Dead Children is an American deathgrind band formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1998. After the release of a self-titled demo that was put out the same year they formed, Circle of Dead Children signed on with Willowtip Records to release their debut full-length album, Starving the Vultures, which comprised the demo tracks as well as several new ones.
Lifelover was a Swedish music group, formed in 2005 by Jonas Bergqvist and Kim Carlsson in Stockholm. Following six years of activity the group split up in September 2011 after the death of Bergqvist, as he was the lead composer and one of Lifelover's founding members. While widely considered being metal, Lifelover combined several genres into their sound, citing black metal, post-punk, dark ambient, doom metal and gothic rock among other influences. The band called their music "narcotic metal", which was described in a Decibel interview with Carlsson where he stated "anyone should be able to figure that out [what that means] or make their own conclusion about it."

Remains of a Ruined, Dead, Cursed Soul is a compilation album by the French black metal band Mütiilation. It was the first material to be released in four years, and since the expulsion of The Black Legions. It compiles songs taken from the demo Evil - The Gestalt of Abomination, which was recorded in 1993, but never available to the public, and songs recorded after the release of Vampires of Black Imperial Blood, in 1996. In the liner notes of the release, Meyhna'ch explains he has died due to the lack of competence in the then scene of black metal. This album was officially re-released in 2010 by Dark Adversary Productions (Australia).
Drakkar Productions is a French record label that has released many recordings of black metal bands throughout the world, on CD, cassette and vinyl. They have usually limited the prints to 1,000 copies or less, but some have been known to vary. The label is now notorious for its Les Légions Noires releases, as well as other black metal bands that are known throughout the world.

Demo 2002 was the first release by the Norwegian black metal band Orcustus, founded by Taipan and with Infernus and Tormentor of Gorgoroth and Dirge Rep of Enslaved and Gehenna.
