Slicks Box, first release not with Rhymesayers Entertainment by Musab Saad, formerly Beyond, and now known as Sab the Artist. The 12-track recording was released by Hieroglyphics Imperium. This release features several rock track samples, such as Toto's "Hold the Line" and Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love." [2]

Rhymesayers Entertainment is an American hip hop independent record label based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was co-founded in 1995 by Sean Daley (Slug), Anthony Davis (Ant), Musab Saad and Brent Sayers (Siddiq). Beginning in 2008, Rhymesayers Entertainment sponsors the annual Soundset Music Festival, a popular attraction that takes place over Memorial Day weekend in Minneapolis.

The Dynospectrum is a studio album by The Dynospectrum, a collaboration between Slug, I Self Devine, Sab the Artist, and Swift. They performed under the pseudonyms Sep Sev Sev Two, Pat Juba, General Woundwart, and Mr. Gene Poole, respectively. The production was handled by Ant, who assumed the name Solomon Grundy for the project. It was released on Rhymesayers Entertainment on October 13, 1998.

Slug is best known as one half of the hip hop group Atmosphere, which he founded with Derek Turner (Spawn). Turner has since left and Anthony Davis (Ant) produces Atmosphere with Slug. In 1995, Slug, in collaboration with Anthony Davis, Musab Saad, and Brent Sayers founded the Minneapolis-based independent hip hop record label Rhymesayers Entertainment.

Sad Clown Bad Summer 9 is a 5-track EP that was released on August 21, 2007 by Minneapolis hip hop duo Atmosphere under their own label Rhymesayers Entertainment. This EP was released to hold listeners over while Slug and Ant put the finishing touches on their LP When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold, that was released on April 22, 2008.

Sad Clown Bad Dub II is a 12-track band promoted album originally sold exclusively at Atmosphere concerts with a limited print run of 500 copies. The songs are a set of four track recordings taken over the course of year 2000 and were compiled on the first day of fall: September 21, 2000. Emcee Slug states in the liner notes that he and producer Ant decided to call this CD "Sad Clown Bad Dub II" to preemptively head off any criticism of the recording's sound quality. A limited pressing re-release of "Sad Clown Bad Dub II", notable for a red "Authorized Bootleg" stamped over the "II" on the CD booklet cover, was later made available by the Rhymesayers label through The Fifth Element store.

Soundset Music Festival is a hip-hop music festival held yearly in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area over Memorial Day weekend. Inaugurated 2008, Soundset has since sold out over 35,000 attendees and hosted established national acts such as Atmosphere, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Big Boi, Ludacris, Macklemore, Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper and Nas as well as up and coming artists including Vic Mensa, Manny Phesto and Dem Atlas.

Orikal Uno

Antonio Rosario, better known as Orikal Uno, is an American rapper from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Orikal Uno is one half of the hip-hop group OnePlusOne, which was founded with Alphonso Fleming Jr (DisputeOne). He is one half of the hip-hop group spellbound along with DJ Greenery. Orikal Uno is known as a visual artist; painting custom canvases for people via multiple platforms on the internet. He is also a notable music producer and audio engineer.
