They were supposed to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with their song "Don't Break Me", until the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Glades are an Australian electronica indie pop band composed of vocalist/guitarist Karina Savage and multi-instrumentalist producers Cameron Robertson and Joseph Wenceslao. The trio met at William Clarke College in Kellyville, New South Wales and formed Glades in 2015. The band's name comes from a ski run band member Robertson saw during a holiday in the snow.

Joel Corry is an English DJ, producer and television personality. He came to prominence in 2019 with the release of his single "Sorry", featuring vocals from Hayley May, which reached number six in the UK Singles Chart. In 2020, Corry released the singles "Lonely" and "Head & Heart". The latter, which features MNEK on vocals, spent six weeks at number one in the UK Top Singles Chart and also became Corry's first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100. Corry stated that he was influenced by Jive Bunny growing up, and that it played a "huge role in his development as a DJ and a producer".
I'm Doing It is the debut studio album by Australian Indie pop singer E^ST. The album was announced on 10 March 2020, and was originally scheduled for release on 10 June 2020 but was delayed until 31 July 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Two secret shows planned for Melbourne and Sydney were also cancelled.
