Smith Snowden is an American football cornerback for the Utah Utes.
Snowden attended Skyridge High School located in Lehi, Utah. [1] During Snowden's senior season, he notched 28 tackles, six interceptions, and four total touchdowns. [2] Coming out of high school, Snowden was rated as a four-star recruit, where he also held offers from schools such as BYU, Northwestern, Penn, Stanford, Utah, and Yale. [3] [4] Ultimately, Snowden committed to play college football for the Utah Utes. [5]
In week 11 of the freshman season in 2023, Snowden got his first defensive reps, playing 37 snaps and recording three tackles in a win over Arizona State. [6] He appeared in 11 games that year, notching seven tackles. [7] [8] In week three of the 2024 season, Snowden recorded his first career interception off quarterback Bryson Barnes, as he helped the Utes to a win over Utah State. [9]
