Snacka om nyheter was the Swedish version of the BBC series Have I Got News for You, broadcast by Sveriges Television. It was first broadcast on 5 March 1995 on TV2 and hosted by Stellan Sundahl. On 22 February 1999 Stellan Sundahl died, days after taping an episode that was shown the day before he died. The show was put on hiatus and the three remaining episodes were replaced by commemorative programmes.
The show returned in November 2000 and was hosted by Sven Melander who would continue hosting it until the show's cancellation. The last programme was broadcast on 21 December 2003.
Snacka om nyheter took many rounds from the British original, including the "Film Round", "Tabloid Headlines", "Odd One Out", "Missing Words" and "Caption Competition". Other elements borrowed from Have I Got News for You were the opening that included the phrase "Good evening and welcome to Snacka om nyheter" followed by a punch-line and the three "news reports" in the beginning as well as the humorous delivery of the scores.
In 2008, the show began airing again, this time on Kanal 9, hosted by Kajsa Ingmarsson and produced by Jarowskij. This only lasted two seasons and the show was canceled in the spring of 2009.

Survivor is a British competition television series based on the international reality franchise of the same name. The series aired for two series on ITV network in 2001 and 2002, before being revived in 2023 by BBC. Following the premise of other versions of the format, the show features a group of contestants become castaways as they are marooned in an isolated location, where they must provide food, water, fire, and shelter for themselves. The contestants compete in challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination. The contestants are progressively eliminated from the game as they are voted off the island by their fellow castaways. The final castaway remaining is awarded the title of "Ultimate Survivor" and a monetary prize.

John Richard Whiteley was an English presenter, and journalist, best known for his twenty-three years as host of the game show Countdown. Countdown was the launch programme for Channel 4 at 4:45 pm on 2 November 1982, and Whiteley was the first person to be seen on the channel. Despite his intelligence, Whiteley enjoyed projecting the image of an absent-minded eccentric. His trademarks were his jolly, avuncular manner, fondness for puns, and his bold, sometimes garish wardrobe.
Patricia Gloria Goddard is an English television presenter and actress. She is best known for her television talk show Trisha (1998–2010), which was broadcast on a mid-morning slot on ITV before later being moved to Channel 5. Goddard has been based in the U.S. since 2010, when she started working on Maury as a conflict resolution expert. She also hosted a U.S. version of her own talk show titled The Trisha Goddard Show (2012–2014). Since 2022, Goddard has presented You Are What You Eat.

Just a Minute is a BBC Radio 4 radio comedy panel game, hosted by Sue Perkins since 2021. For more than 50 years, with a few exceptions, the programme was hosted by Nicholas Parsons. Throughout that time, Parsons appeared on nearly every show, occasionally as a panellist rather than as chairman. Following Parsons' death in 2020, Perkins assumed the host's chair permanently, starting with the 87th series. Take Me Out was a dating game show that was presented by comedian Paddy McGuinness. Based on the Australian show Taken Out, it first aired on ITV in the United Kingdom and simulcast on TV3 in the Republic of Ireland on 2 January 2010. An unscreened pilot episode was made for Channel 4 in 2009, but it was ITV who picked it up for a series. The show was produced by Thames.
