The 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games, officially known as the III Winter Youth Olympic Games, and commonly known as Lausanne 2020 was the third edition of the Winter Youth Olympics; a major international multi-sport event and cultural festival for teenagers was held in Lausanne, Switzerland, the home of the International Olympic Committee, between 9 and 22 January 2020.
The men's big air competition of the 2011 FIS Snowboarding World Championships was held in Barcelona, Spain on January 15, 2011. 52 athletes from 17 countries competed.
The men's snowboard big air competition of the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2015 was held at Kreischberg, Austria on January 23 (qualifying) and January 24 (finals). 50 athletes from 18 countries competed.
New Zealand competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from 9 to 25 February 2018. The team consisted of 21 athletes, 17 men and 4 women, across five sports.
