SoCalUncensored.com is a professional wrestling news website based in Southern California. It is owned by Steven Bryant [1] and was created in 2001. The site aggregates local wrestling and MMA events [2] and a number of wrestlers such as Samoa Joe [3] and Jake Atlas [4] have contributed to the site over the years. The popularity of the site led Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky to name their professional wrestling stable as "SoCal Uncensored" in homage to it. [5]

Pro Wrestling Stable

At Ring of Honor's Final Battle, Scorpio Sky joined Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, becoming known as SoCal Uncensored. They chose the name SoCal Uncensored in homage to the website, which all three were fans of. Before using the name they asked for and were granted permission from the website to use the name. [6]

In March 2018, Lucha Underground's parent company, FMV, sent a cease and desist to Steven Bryant of SoCalUncensored.com and Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com for publishing spoilers to recent Lucha Underground tapings. [7] SoCalUncensored.com continued to post spoilers for Lucha Underground and no further legal action was taken. [8]

Awards

SoCalUncensored.com has given annual professional wrestling awards in several categories since 2001. The awards have been referenced on Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling, AEW television, and featured on Spectrum News. [9]

Hall of Fame

SoCalUncensored.com currently hosts the Southern California Pro-Wrestling Hall of Fame, which was created in 2001 by wrestlers Cincinnati Red, Jason "Primetime" Peterson and Steven Bryant.

SoCal Uncensored (SCU) was an American professional wrestling collective that consisted of Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky. They are signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Daniels and Kazarian are no longer able to team together due to a stipulation in which they had to disband; their final teaming together came in May 2021. Sky, contrarily, began focusing on singles competition in early 2020 and then formed a heel tag team with Ethan Page in March 2021.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">All In (2018)</span> Independent professional wrestling event

The 2018 All In was an independent professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event promoted by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks in association with Ring of Honor (ROH). At the time, Rhodes and the Jacksons had been a part of the Bullet Club of New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and ROH. The event took place on September 1, 2018, at the Sears Centre Arena in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The event aired live on traditional PPV outlets, FITE TV, and Honor Club, but it was later made available for on-demand viewing on the NJPW World streaming service. The event included Zero Hour, an hour-long pre-show that aired on WGN America. While independently produced, the event featured wrestlers from NJPW, ROH, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Impact Wrestling, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), Major League Wrestling (MLW), and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).

Chris Jericho's Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea is a series of cruise ship experiences held by professional wrestler, musician, author and actor Chris Jericho. The experience features professional wrestling events, musical concerts, stand-up comedy, and podcasts. The original cruise took place in October 2018. Two months later, Jericho confirmed there would be a second cruise to be held in 2020. Jericho partnered with Ring of Honor to hold the cruise's wrestling event in 2018 and with All Elite Wrestling for his 2020 and 2021 cruise.

The Lucha Brothers, also known as the Lucha Bros or Los Lucha Bros, are a Mexican professional wrestling tag team consisting of brothers Penta El Zero Miedo/Penta Oscuro and Rey Fénix, and their manager Alex Abrahantes. The current champions are FTR, who are in their record-tying second reign, both as a team and individually. They won the title by defeating The Gunns in a Title vs. Career match on the April 5, 2023, episode of Dynamite.

The 2020 Revolution was the inaugural Revolution professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It took place on February 29, 2020, at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The event was AEW's last PPV to be held before the COVID-19 pandemic took effect in mid-March, and AEW's final PPV event to be held with a full capacity crowd until Double or Nothing in May 2021.
