Soberbo River (Portuguese : Rio Soberbo) is the river that cuts off the city of Guapimirim in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Several people have died with this phenomenon, [1] [2] because the rain clouds at the top of the mountain are sometimes seen by bathers who are caught in surprise.
