Social Democrats of Uganda

Social Democrats of Uganda is a political party in Uganda, founded in 2003. The party was registered with the Election Commission of Uganda on April 1, 2004. [1] The founding president of SDU was Nabilah Sempala. [2] Later, Sempala the left SDU for the Forum for Democratic Change. [3]

Ahead of the 2021 Uganda general elections, the party joined the Democratic Party to form a coalition [4]

The Democratic Renewal Party was a political party in Indonesia. It was established in 2005 by former members of the Indonesian Democratic Party – Struggle (PDI-P) who were once close aides of party leader Megawati Sukarnoputri. Following the 2005 PDI-P congress, differences appeared over the nature of democratic methods within the party. A group of people, including Petrus Selestinus, took the view that although the PDI-P was a modern political party, it still used the old authoritarian methods such as giving absolute prerogative rights to the party chairman and having only one candidate for senior positions. This group then established the Democratic Renewal Party. Unlike the PDI-P, it had a system of collective leadership, with 35 people forming the national leadership.

Margaret Nantongo Zziwa is a Ugandan politician and legislator. She served as the Speaker of the 3rd East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) in Arusha, Tanzania. She was elected to serve in that capacity in June 2012. She was impeached and voted out of office on 17 December 2014, on charges of misconduct and abuse of office, but was later awarded compensation for illegal removal.

The Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference is a political party in Jammu and Kashmir, India, founded by Abdul Ghani Lone and Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari in 1978. It is currently led by Sajjad Lone. Angelline Asio Osegge, also known as Angelina Osege is a Ugandan social worker and politician, who serves as the incumbent Member of Parliament representing the Soroti District Women Constituency in the 10th Ugandan Parliament. She is the chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee for the Central Government. She belongs to Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).

The Party of the Radical Left is a left-wing political party in Serbia. It was founded in September 2020 as the successor to Social Democratic Union. The party has no seats in the National Assembly, and is yet to contest the parliamentary election.
