The Social Reform Party (SRP) is a political party in Sint Maarten founded in 2013 by former National Alliance member Jacinto Mock. [2] At the 2014 general elections on 29 August, the party obtained 0.91% of the votes and failed to obtain a seat in parliament. [3]
A political party is an organized group of people, often with common views, who come together to contest elections and hold power in the government. The party agrees on some proposed policies and programmes, with a view to promoting the collective good or furthering their supporters' interests.

The 'National Alliance' is a political alliance in Sint Maarten, formed by the Sint Maarten Patriotic Alliance and the National Progressive Party. It is one of main political parties within Sint Maarten. At the legislative elections in the Netherlands Antilles, 18 January 2002, the alliance won 4.8% of the popular vote of Sint Maarten and 1 out of 22 seats. At the elections in the Netherlands Antilles of 27 January 2006, it won one extra seat.

A co-founder of the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), Rainsy was previously a member of the royalist Funcinpec Party and served as the Minister of Economy and Finance during Norodom Ranariddh's administration from 1993 until his sacking in 1994. In June 1995, he was expelled from the National Assembly, and formed the Khmer Nation Party (KNP), which changed its name before the 1998 elections to the Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) to avoid registration issues. From 2000 to 2002 and again from 2012 to 2014, Rainsy was the chairperson of the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats.

However, their then (MP)-elect Leona Marlin-Romeo left the US Party and became an independent member of parliament.
The One St. Maarten People Party (OSPP) is a political party in Sint Maarten founded in 2013 by former Sint Maarten Patriotic Alliance finance commissioner Lenny Priest. At the 2014 general elections on 29 August, the party obtained 1.16% of the votes and failed to obtain a seat in parliament.
