The Sint Maarten Patriotic Alliance (Dutch : Sint Maarten Patriottische Alliantie) is a political party in Sint Maarten. Formed in 1990, the party gained four seats in the 1991 Island Council Election. [1] At the 2002 legislative elections in the Netherlands Antilles, the party joined the National Alliance that won 4.8% of the popular vote and 1 out of 22 seats.

Despite only having won two seats, the Democratic Party's Sarah Wescot-Williams became Prime Minister.

The Social Reform Party is a political party in Sint Maarten founded in 2013 by former National Alliance member Jacinto Mock. At the 2014 general elections on 29 August, it obtained 0.91% of the votes and failed to obtain a seat in parliament.

The National Democratic Party was a nationalist political party in Sint Maarten. Founded by Theophilus Priest, the party first contested national elections in 1999, but received only 7 votes, and failed to win a seat. They ran again in the 2003 receiving 41 votes, and again in the 2007 elections under the name Freedom Slate of the National Democratic Party, receiving 20 votes. The party did not contest any further elections.

Jorien Wuite is a Sint Maarten-Dutch civil servant, diplomat, and politician. Born in The Hague, she moved to Sint Maarten aged 32 to work in government. She rose to the position of Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports and served as Minister Plenipotentiary of Sint Maarten in the period 2018–19. She moved back to the European part of the Netherlands due to her election to the House of Representatives in 2021 as a member of the social liberal party Democrats 66 (D66).

The United Democrats was a political party on Sint Maarten. The party was originally a merger between the Democratic Party (DP) and the United People's Party (UP). The UP left and re-established itself in 2020, leaving the United Democrats as essentially a direct continuation of the Democratic Party, and after the latter was reformed in 2023, the UD became essentially defunct.

The election was won by the Bonaire Patriotic Union in Bonaire, the National People's Party in Curaçao, the Windward Islands People's Movement in Saba, and the Sint Maarten Patriotic Alliance in Sint Maarten.
