Sofia Tanghetti (born 3 May 1999) is an Italian rower.
She won a silver medal in the Lightweight Women's Pair category at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. [1]

Lake Pancharevo is an artificial lake in western Bulgaria, at the end of the Pancharevo Gorge of the Iskar River, located at 600 m above sea level between the Vitosha and Lozenska mountains. It is 3 km long and up to 700 m wide, reaching a depth of 30 m, and is situated 12 km southeast of the capital city of Sofia, where the Vitoshka Bistritsa flows into the Iskar. The villages of Pancharevo and Kokalyane and the Pancharevo mineral springs lies on the lake's western shore, while at the southern end of the lake there is a hydroelectric power station. Sports centres and catering establishments have been constructed around the lake, making it a favoured outing location for the residents of Sofia. Further upstream in the gorge there are two additional artificial lakes: the Pasarel Reservoir and the Iskar Reservoir.
Rumyana Neykova is a Bulgarian rower. Neykova competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics, the 1996 Summer Olympics, the 2000 Summer Olympics, where she won silver in Single Sculls, the 2004 Summer Olympics, where she won bronze and the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she won gold in the same discipline. Her current coach is her husband Svilen Neykov. In 2002, she set the world best time of 7:07:41 on 21 September in Seville ESP and she was named Bulgarian Sportswoman of the Year, as well as FISA Female Rower of the Year.
Svilen Emilov Neykov is Bulgarian rower, rowing coach and former Minister of Physical Education and Sport in Bulgaria from 27 July 2009 to 21 February 2013.
The 1966 World Rowing Championships was the second time that world championships in rowing were held. The regatta was held from 8 to 11 September at Lake Bled in Bled, Slovenia, Yugoslavia. There were 613 rowers from 32 countries who competed in 141 in the seven Olympic boat classes. Marketing and advertising for the event were handled by Cesar Lüthi.

Martino Goretti is an Italian representative lightweight rower, a current (2019) world champion and a dual Olympian. He has represented at senior World Rowing Championships and World Rowing Cups consistently from 2005 to 2019. He is a four time world champion at the senior level who won three titles in Italian lightweight eights from 2005 to 2009 and then in 2019 won the lightweight single scull world title. He had previously won underage world championships as a junior and an U23.

Sofia Asoumanaki is a Greek rower. She was born in Athens, Greece and was involved in swimming between the ages of 2.5 until 16. During that time she competed many times on the national level. At the age of 16 she decided to engage herself in rowing. Within her first year in this sport she achieved fourth place in the World Junior Championship, but also received distinctions and medals in National, Balkan, European and World Championships and in September 2015 she was admitted for participation in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro. Sofia Asoumanaki is a Greek rower who represented Greece, along with Katerina Nikolaidou at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, finishing in the 4th place. She also won a silver medal in the double sculls at the 2015 World Rowing Championships and the same year won a silver medal in the single sculls at the 2015 Junior World Rowing Championship. Moreover, Sofia Asoumanaki holds the World Indoor Rowing Record in Boston from 2015. After the 2016 Summer Olympics she decided to follow the studies in the University Of Washington in Seattle.
The 2019 World Rowing Championships were held in Ottensheim, Austria from 25 August to 1 September 2019. Apart from Ottensheim, the right to host the championships was contested by Hamburg in Germany, Račice in the Czech Republic, and Varese in Italy.
