Ikigami:The Ultimate Limit is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Motoro Mase. The manga was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Young Sunday (2005–2008) and Weekly Big Comic Spirits (2008–2012). A national prosperity law has been passed in a dystopian nation resulting in citizens between the ages of 18 and 24 being randomly selected to die for the good of the nation. These citizens are given 24-hour notification of their impending death. These notifications are known as "ikigami"—the ostensible reason for this system being to help demonstrate the value of life. The manga was adapted into a live-action film titled Ikigami in 2008 with Tomoyuki Takimoto as its director.
Saint Young Men is a Japanese slice of life comedy manga series written and illustrated by Hikaru Nakamura. Its plot involves Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha,who are living as roommates in an apartment in Tokyo. It has been serialized by Kodansha in the monthly seinen manga magazine Monthly Morning Two since September 2006,with chapters collected in twenty tankōbon volumes as of July 2022. Kodansha USA has been publishing the series in English in an omnibus edition since December 2019. A-1 Pictures adapted the manga series into two original animation DVDs (OADs) and an anime film which was released on May 10,2013. It also inspired a ten-episode live-action web series in 2018.

Missions of Love is a shōjo manga series by Ema Tōyama. The plot centers around a junior high student named Yukina Himuro. While she is cold and withdrawn,she finds a big secret about Shigure,a guy who is hugely popular with the girls. In order to keep the secret hidden,Yukina orders him to do "missions" with her that involve romance. Yukina feels that the missions will help her novels,but as time passes she begins to question if it is really love developing. Missions of Love appeared as a serial in the monthly manga magazine Nakayoshi from June 10,2009 to June 3,2015. Kodansha published the chapters in nineteen bound volumes,from October 6,2009 to June 12,2015. In addition to the manga,a drama CD was also released in Japan in 2012. In 2018,a live action film adaptation was released,following a mini manga sequel in Nakayoshi to help promote it.
