Solfrid Nilsen

Solfrid Nilsen (born 29 January 1937) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party.

She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Sør-Trøndelag during the terms 1989–1993 and 1997–2001. In total she met during 8 days of parliamentary session. [1]

Laila Schou Nilsen was one of the foremost Norwegian sportspeople of the 20th century, best known as a speed skater, alpine skier, and tennis player. Across her sporting career – which also included handball, ski jumping, cross-country skiing, and motorsport – Nilsen won 101 Norwegian Championship titles, of which 86 were in tennis.

She competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, where she placed fifth in the double sculls, together with Haldis Lenes.
