Solista Pero No Solo (Soloist But Not Alone) is the debut album by Puerto Rican salsa singer Frankie Ruiz following his departure from Tommy Olivencia's band. The album reached #1 on the Tropical Album chart which made Ruiz the first solo performer to achieve this feat.
José Antonio Torresola Ruiz better known as Frankie Ruiz was an American salsa singer and songwriter. He was a major figure in the salsa romántica subgenre that was popular in the 1980s and early 1990s. During his youth, he developed a passion for percussion, later confessing that this would have been his second choice after singing. While still in his 30s, he became known as El Papá de la Salsa.

Huey Dunbar is the former singer of Dark Latin Groove. Born to a Puerto Rican mother and a Jamaican father, he was exposed to music since his earliest years due to his parents' musical careers. His hits with the band included "La quiero a morir", "Juliana", "No Morirá", "Volveré", "Todo mi corazón", and a remake of Ricardo Montaner's original classic "Me va a extrañar". In 2000, he split up with DLG and since had a solo career which, though commercially successful, has not equaled the diverse acclaim accorded DLG. For his first solo album he was awarded "Best New Artist" by Billboard magazine, and received a Grammy nomination. The album was certified Gold and Platinum by RIAA. In 2007 Dunbar was invited by producer Sergio George to reunite with DLG, but Dunbar refused. The seven-year gap between Dunbar's 2003 and 2010 albums has not been publicly explained, but is uncharacteristic of a popular star at the peak of his career. Sales of "Huey Dunbar IV" were strong in Latin America. In Billboard's Tropical Songs chart, the single "Te amaré" had moved from the number 9 song to number 4. "Huey Dunbar IV", debuted on the Tropical Albums chart at Number 2 on March 20, 2010.

Henry Santos is a Dominican artist. Best known for his tenure as a singer and songwriter in the bachata supergroup Aventura, Henry Santos is a Dominican vocalist from New York City, who made his debut as a solo artist in 2011. Born Henry Santos Jeter, December 15, 1979, in Moca, Espaillat, Dominican Republic, he moved with his family to the Bronx, NY, at age of 13. He is cousin of bachata star Romeo Santos, with whom he co-founded Aventura in 1996. Originally known as "Los Tinelles", the group made its full-length debut with “Trampa De Amor” in 1998. Aventura became recognized worldwide with the smash hit "Obsesión" from their third album, We Broke The Rules (2002). "Si Tú Me Besas" is a song by Puerto Rican-American recording artist Victor Manuelle. It was composed by Venezuelan singer-songwriter Oscar "Oscarcito" Hernández and released on October 9, 2011 as the lead single from his thirteenth studio album Busco un Pueblo and. The song is a salsa recording which combines the sounds of bomba and reggeaton urban music. A ballad version of the song was also recorded which is included on the deluxe edition of the album.

RKM & Ken-Y, is a reggaeton duo formed in 2003 by José Nieves (RKM) and Kenny Vázquez (Ken-Y). The artists are renowned in the Latin music world for being the first to successfully fuse mainstream pop music with the reggaeton street rhythms of Puerto Rico and expose the style to a wide international audience. The sound introduced by RKM and Ken-Y would go on to inspire the pop reggaeton songs of successful acts such as CNCO, J Balvin and Maluma. The duo had a very successful career with the spanish speaking audience of Latin America, The United States and Spain until their separation in 2013. In June 2017, the duo announced their official return by Pina Records.
