Solly McLeod is a British actor. On television, he starred in the ITVX miniseries Tom Jones (2023). His films include Jericho Ridge , The Dead Don't Hurt (both 2023), and Last Swim (2024).
The son of musicians Aimée Leonard and Rory McLeod, Solly grew up in Orkney before moving to London at age 10 when his parents split up. He attended the Unseen drama school in London. [1]
From April 2021 onwards, McLeod filmed four projects back-to-back with only one day to rest between each. He was in the Sky television series The Rising and HBO's House of the Dragon before spending three months playing the eponymous hero in Tom Jones and then filming the independent survival thriller Jericho Ridge in Kosovo. [2] In Tom Jones, McLeod stars alongside Sophie Wilde and Hannah Waddingham. [3] [4] McLeod had previously had a role in Outlander . [5] He was cast in the Viggo Mortensen Western film The Dead Don't Hurt . [6] [7] He has been cast in an upcoming project entitled Beach Boys. [8]
In December 2021 McLeod portrayed a World War 1 soldier in the music video for Minute Taker's song Lead You Home. [9]

Viggo Peter Mortensen Jr. R is an American actor. He made his film debut in a small role in Peter Weir's 1985 thriller Witness. He appeared in several notable films, including The Indian Runner (1991), Carlito's Way (1993), Crimson Tide (1995), Daylight (1996), The Portrait of a Lady (1996), G.I. Eastern Promises is a 2007 British-Canadian gangster film directed by David Cronenberg from a screenplay by Steven Knight.
