Solly McLeod (born 10 February 2000)[ citation needed ] is a British actor. On television, he starred in the ITVX miniseries Tom Jones (2023). His films include Jericho Ridge , The Dead Don't Hurt (both 2023), and Last Swim (2024).

From April 2021 onwards, McLeod filmed four projects back-to-back with only one day to rest between each. He was in the Sky television series The Rising and HBO's House of the Dragon before spending three months playing the eponymous hero in Tom Jones and then filming the independent survival thriller Jericho Ridge in Kosovo. [2] In Tom Jones, McLeod stars alongside Sophie Wilde and Hannah Waddingham. [3] [4] McLeod had previously had a role in Outlander . [5] He was cast in the Viggo Mortensen Western film The Dead Don't Hurt . [6] [7] He has been cast in an upcoming project entitled Beach Boys. [8]
In December 2021, McLeod portrayed a World War 1 soldier in the music video for Minute Taker's song "Lead You Home". [9]

Eastern Promises is a 2007 British-Canadian gangster film directed by David Cronenberg from a screenplay by Steven Knight. Noomi Rapace is a Swedish actress. She achieved international fame with her portrayal of Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish film adaptations of the Millennium series (2009): The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest. For her performance in the Millennium series, Rapace won amongst others two Nymphe d'Ors, a Guldbagge Award, and a Satellite Award as Best Actress, and was nominated for a BAFTA Award, an International Emmy Award and a European Film Award. Green Book is a 2018 American biographical comedy-drama film directed by Peter Farrelly. Starring Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, the film is inspired by the true story of a 1962 tour of the Deep South by African American pianist Don Shirley and Italian American bouncer and later actor Frank "Tony Lip" Vallelonga, who served as Shirley's driver and bodyguard. Written by Farrelly alongside Lip's son Nick Vallelonga and Brian Hayes Currie, the film is based on interviews with Lip and Shirley, as well as letters Lip wrote to his wife. It is named after The Negro Motorist Green Book, a guide book for African American travelers founded by Victor Hugo Green in 1936 and published until 1966.
Falling is a 2020 drama film written and directed by Viggo Mortensen in his feature directorial debut. The film stars Mortensen as John Peterson, a middle-aged gay man whose homophobic father Willis starts to exhibit symptoms of dementia, forcing him to sell the family farm and move to Los Angeles to live with John and his husband Eric. Mortensen also composed the score to the film. It is a co-production between Canada, Denmark and Mexico.
