Solveig Solbakken

Solveig Solbakken (born 25 June 1949) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.

She served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Aust-Agder during the terms 19972001 and 20012005. Between 2000 and 2001, during the first cabinet Stoltenberg, she was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs.

Storting supreme legislature of Norway

Aust-Agder is one of 18 counties (fylker) in Norway, bordering Telemark, Rogaland, and Vest-Agder counties. In 2002, there were 102,945 inhabitants, which is 2.2% of the total population in Norway. Its area is 9,212 square kilometres (3,557 sq mi). The administrative center of the county is the town of Arendal.

On the local level, she has been deputy mayor of Lillesand municipality.
