Somdutta Singh is an Indian businesswoman, angel investor and author. [1] [2] She is the founder and chief executive officer of Assiduus Global.

Early life

Singh was born in Kolkata, India. Her mother and father are doctors. [5] Singh graduated from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. She later moved to the US to pursue Master's Degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. [6]

Career

In 2013, Singh founded her first company Unspun Consulting Group, an advertising technology company. The company was based in USA and had branches in Bangalore, India. She served as the founder and chief executive officer. [7]

Singh spent time in the US scaling several direct to consumer private labels that she created to sell on digital-first platforms like Amazon and Walmart. These brands included Amplicell, The Real Boss Lady Beauty, Biotevia, and Irotica [8]

In 2018, Singh founded and is the chief executive officer of Assiduus Global Inc. This is an AI powered cross-border e-commerce accelerator that helps direct-to-consumer launch and scale in the global marketplace [9]
