Somedaydream is a Filipino synthpop project created by singer/songwriter and Music producer Rez Toledo in 2011 in Manila, the Philippines. [1] [2]
In February 2011, Somedaydream gained mainstream popularity with his first single "Hey Daydreamer" in January 2011 and quickly topped the charts of local radio stations within the Greater Manila Area. His follow-up singles achieved similar success.
His group of fans call themselves "Dreamers" and his official fan club is called "Dreamers Official". The single "Hey Daydreamer" was used in a Selecta Philippines Cornetto commercial. [3]
On 29 November 2011, his self-titled debut album Somedaydream was released. [4]
In March 2012, Somedaydream collaborated with Sarah Geronimo and Gary Valenciano for "Tuloy", a song now used as Coca-Cola's 100th Anniversary theme song in the Philippines. [5] [6] Also as part of the anniversary, Somedaydream along with other artists performed at the Coca-Cola Concert Ng Bayan on 23 March 2012 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. [7] [8] "Tuloy" was also performed live during the concert, along with co-collaborators Sarah Geronimo and Gary Valenciano.
Following the success of his debut album, Toledo co-founded 2 independent brands: Futurestudio (record label) and Logiclub (artist/producer collective management). He later began collaborating with former General Luna vocalist Nicole Asensio for their collaborating album in partnership with MCA Music for D5 Studio Originals.

The Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, later popularly known as APO Hiking Society, or simply APO, was a Filipino musical group. The group had its fledgling beginnings in 1969 at the Ateneo de Manila high school, with 15 members: John Paul Micayabas, Lito de Joya, Sonny Santiago, Gus Cosio, Renato Garcia, Chito Kintanar, Kenny Barton, Bruce Brown, Butch Dans, Kinjo Sawada, Ric Segreto Macaraeg, Goff Macaraeg, Doden Besa, Jim Paredes, and Boboy Garovillo. The group's name was created from the acronym AMHS representing their school with a witty twist having an irreverent reference to the Philippine revolutionary intellectual and hero, Apolinario Mabini, and later shortened to "Apo", an Ilocano term for a wise man or a Tagalog term of grandchildren, and later re-branded to "APO". Contrary to popular belief, the "Apo" name was not a reference to the Philippines's highest peak, the potentially-active stratovolcano Mount Apo.

The song serves to commemorate the bloodless People Power Revolution which ended President Ferdinand Marcos's 20-year rule, as well as a benefit single for the rehabilitation of Radio Veritas, a public affairs radio station instrumental in the revolution. The lyrics of the song are inscribed on a wall of Our Lady of EDSA Shrine, the center of the revolution.
