Sommerroparken (Sommerro Park), formerly known as Solliparken, is a small park between the streets of Sommerrogata and Henrik Ibsens Gate in the Frogner district of Oslo, Norway. It consists of a narrow grass-covered strip with park benches, ornaments, trees and bushes. [1]
The park, with a maximum width of 8 m (26 ft), stretches some 200 m (670 ft) between Henrik Ibsens Gate, which leads to the square of Solli plass, and Sommerrogata, a small street on its north side flanked by buildings. The roundabout at its western end provides access to Frognerveien, Drammensveien and Bygdøy Allé. The name of Sommerro stems from the large estate which belonged to the 18th century merchant Bernt Anker. The park was developed by the Society for the Welfare of Oslo between 1850 and 1874 when various trees and shrubs were planted. By 1886, the park covered an area of 2,146 m2 (23,100 sq ft). [2]
The sculpture Mannen med nøkkelen (The Man with the Key) by the French sculptor Auguste Rodin was unveiled in the park in 1902. It depicts Jean d'Aire, one of the figures from the work The Burghers of Calais .
The length of the park was considerably reduced in at the end of the 1930s with the development of Lapsetorvet and Solli Plass. In 2009, the municipality undertook renovation work with paving stones and new benches.
Gustav Vigeland, born as Adolf Gustav Thorsen, was a Norwegian sculptor. Gustav Vigeland occupies a special position among Norwegian sculptors, both in the power of his creative imagination and in his productivity. He is most associated with the Vigeland installation (Vigelandsanlegget) in Frogner Park, Oslo. He was also the designer of the Nobel Peace Prize medal.

It includes the manor house which is the seat of Oslo Museum, the nearby Henriette Wegner Pavilion, the Vigeland installation of sculptures created by sculptor Gustav Vigeland, Frogner Baths, Frogner stadion, Frognerparken Café, the restaurant Herregårdskroen and the largest collection of roses in the country with 14,000 plants of 150 species. Frogner Park is the most visited tourist attraction in Norway.

Elisenberg station is an unfinished railway station within the Oslo Tunnel on the Drammen Line in Oslo, Norway. The ghost station was partially built during the construction of the tunnel between 1971 and 1980, but has never been put into use. It is located between Nationaltheatret Station and Skøyen Station, at Elisenberg in Frogner. A 220-meter (720 ft) long center platform and part of the access way has been built, but never completed. While the station initially was not put into use because of lack of funds to complete it, it is now unlikely that it will ever be completed, as the need for a station has disappeared and an opening would need a large investment of funds.
The Ibsen Museum (Ibsenmuseet) occupies the last home of the playwright Henrik Ibsen. It is located close to the Royal Palace on Henrik Ibsens gate (street) in Oslo, Norway. The museum is closed; however, regarding the possibility of having the museum open during Summer 2023: the government has been petitioned, to provide financing.

The Briskeby Line is a line of the Oslo Tramway in Norway. It runs westwards from Jernbanetorget in the city center, passing through the neighborhoods of Briskeby and Uranienborg before reaching its terminus at Majorstuen. The section from Jernbanetorget to Inkognitogata is shared with the Skøyen Line; on this section it connects with the important transport hub Nationatheatret. This part is variously served by route 11, 12 and 13. From the Inkognitogata stop, the line moves through the residential areas around the Royal Palace, in the streets named Riddervolds gate, Briskebyveien, Holtegata and Bogstadveien. The part of the line in Bogstadveien from Majorstuen to Rosenborg is also served by route 19, which operates the Homansbyen Line.
St. Hanshaugen Park is a large public park located just north of the city center of Oslo, Norway. It is a classic urban park located within the borough of St. Hanshaugen, which was named for the park which lies within its center. St. Hanshaugen Park is situated between Geitmyrsveien, Colletts gate, Ullevålsveien and Knud Knudsens plass. Nearby are Bislett Stadium and Alexander Kiellands plass.
The Frogner Line is a section of the Oslo Tramway which runs between Solli and Majorstuen, serving the neighborhood of Frogner. The line is served by tram number 12, and the Frogner section makes up the westernmost part of this line. From Solli to Frogner, the line runs northwestwards to Frognerveien, then turns northeast along Kirkeveien, along the Frogner Park, including a stop at the main gate to the Vigeland sculpture installation, before ending at Majorstuen where it connects with the Homansbyen Line and Briskeby Line.

Inkognitogata is a tram stop on the Briskeby Line (Briskebylinjen) in Oslo, Norway. Inkognitogata is a street which begins at Uranienborg Road and follows Slottsparken all the way towards the Oslofjord, to Henrik Ibsens gate. The tram station is situated between Riddervolds plass and Nationaltheatret. It is serviced by line 11, which is served by SL79 trams. It's also possible to transfer to the stop Solli.
Ukraine Square is a square in Skarpsno, Frogner, Oslo. It is located at the intersection of Drammensveien and Leiv Eirikssons gate. The Russian Embassy is located next to Ukraine Square. The borough of Frogner renamed the square as Ukraine Square on 8 March 2022 in support of Ukraine's freedom, in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The borough voted on 8 March 2022 to change the name of part of the road where the Russian embassy and other properties have its addresses; none of the addresses were changed, however the intersection closest to the Russian embassy got its name "Ukraine Square".
