The Rashtriya Janata Dal is an Indian political party,mainly based in the state of Bihar. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Rajiv Pratap Rudy is an Indian politician from Bihar. He is a four-time Member of Parliament representing Bharatiya Janata Party. In 2023,he won from Saran in Bihar. Earlier,he won three times in 1996,1999 and 2014 from Chapra Assembly Constituency,which later became Saran. He was also an MLA from Taraiya Assembly Constituency representing Janata Dal in 1990. He was the Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers in the Narasimha Rao Government.
Tarapur Assembly constituency is one of 243 constituencies of the legislative assembly of Bihar. It comes under Jamui. This assembly constituency contains Tarapur Block. The region is dominated by Kushwahas. In the elections of Mukhiya and the President (Pramukh) of the Block,the probability of the victory of candidates belonging to this caste group remains high. In 2022,the polls were conducted for the membership of Zila Parishad and Mukhiya,and out of ten posts of Mukhia,five were won by the candidate belonging to Kushwaha community. The two posts of member of Zila Parishad also went to candidates from the same community.

Sahdeo Prasad Yadav was an Indian politician and a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly of India. He represented the Kurtha constituency in Arwal district of Bihar. He had been a Mukhiya of Chitaukhar-Jalalpur Panchayat for almost 25 years. First he became an MLA in 1980 while being in Lok Dal party. He was elected in 1995 as a member of Janata Dal. Yadav started his political career in 1957 as an Independent candidate from Tikari constituency but lost. Later this constituency named as Konch,now again becomes Tikari constituency from 2010 onwards. He also fought from here as a candidate of Indian National Congress in 1967 but lost to U. N. Verma of Samyukta Socialist Party and in 1969 lost to Ram Balav Saran Singh.
Vijendra Kumar Yadav is an Indian politician and a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly of India. He represented the Sandesh constituency in Bhojpur district of Bihar. He was elected in 2000 as a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) but later left the party to join JD(U).
Tulsi Singh Yadav also Known as Tulsi Singh is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly from Karakaat as a member of the Samyukta Socialist Party and Janata Dal in 1967,1969,1980,1990 and 1995. In 2000,Yadav lost Bihar Legislative Assembly to Arun Singh as a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal. He contested 2009 Lok Sabha election from Karakat constituency as a member of Samajwadi Party but lost to Mahabali Singh. Yadav died on 4 November 2015.
Sanjay Singh Tiger is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Bhojpur district,Bihar. He has served as MLA in Bihar Legislative Assembly representing the Sandesh constituency from 2010 to 2015. Currently,he is the state spokesperson of BJP's Bihar unit.
Abhay Kushwaha alias is an Indian politician from the Rashtriya Janata Dal,and a Member of Parliament representing Aurangabad in Bihar,India and former Member of Legislative Assembly for Tikari in the Gaya district of Bihar. An erstwhile member of Janata Dal (United);he won the 2015 Legislative Assembly election to the Tekari constituency by defeating Anil Kumar of Hindustani Awam Morcha,a political party led by former Bihar Chief Minister,Jitan Ram Manjhi. He defeated Anil Kumar by a huge margin of votes. While Abhay secured 86,975 votes,Anil managed to get 55,162 votes only. In 2024 Indian general election,he won the Aurangabad,Bihar Lok Sabha constituency by defeating BJP's four term member of parliament,Sushil Kumar Singh. He contested on the symbol of Rashtriya Janata Dal in this election.
Neeraj Yadav was an Indian politician who was elected as a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Barari constituency in 2015 as the candidate of Rashtriya Janata Dal but lost to Bijay Singh in 2020 elections.
Arun Kumar Yadav is an Indian politician and a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly. He represented the Sandesh constituency in Bhojpur district of Bihar. Arun Yadav was elected in 2015 as a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)

Fateh Bahadur Singh commonly known as Fateh Bahadur Kushwaha is a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly for the 17th Bihar Assembly. He was elected as a candidate of Rashtriya Janata Dal from the Dehri Assembly constituency of Rohtas district. In the 2020 Assembly elections,he defeated Satyanarayan Singh of Bhartiya Janata Party,who was his nearest political rival.

Prabhu Dayal Singh was an Indian politician from Bihar,who served as member of Bihar Legislative Assembly for three terms from erstwhile Mirganj Assembly constituency in Gopalganj district of Bihar. Singh was a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal led by Lalu Prasad Yadav and was considered as a trusted aide of Yadav's brother-in-law Subhash Prasad Yadav. Singh had also served as member of other political parties which included Indian National Congress and Samata Party.
