Song to the King is the first full-length studio album from Christian band Pocket Full of Rocks. It was released on March 14, 2006 by Myrrh Records.

Myrrh Records, also known as Myrrh Worship, was an American Christian music record label. According to Encyclopedia of American Gospel Music, the label was instrumental in developing a popular following for contemporary Christian music as the label that first published music by Barry McGuire, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Randy Matthews and Nancy Honeytree. The label is also known for serving as the first label for popular Christian crossover singer Amy Grant, who joined the label in 1977. She stayed with Myrrh until 1999.

The album received a nomination at the 38th GMA Dove Awards for Praise & Worship Album of the Year. [3] The band was also nominated for New Artist of the Year. [4]

The 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards were held on April 25, 2007 recognizing accomplishments of musicians for the year 2006. The show was held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee, and was hosted by Brian Littrell, Natalie Grant, and Donnie McClurkin. This was the first year in which the awards were called the "GMA Dove Awards" since the 2006 edition was called the "GMA Music Awards".
