Banghra is a Spanish pop group formed in 2007 with members Javi Mota, Lidia Guevara, and Victoria Gómez that tried to reintroduce belly dancing and Indian dance music to the mainstream in catchy songs sung in Spanish and English. The band was formed as a project of producer Sergio Medrano. The group disbanded in 2008 after just 2 albums in 2 years, namely La Danza del Vientre and ...a bailar! and a number of successful singles, the biggest of which was "My Own Way". After split up of Banghra, Javi Mota and Lidia Guevara have both pursued solo music careers.
Momentos Intimos is a compilation album by American singer Selena and released posthumously on March 23, 2004, through EMI Latin. The album contains 24 tracks, though the last eight are spoken liner notes provided by the singer's family, friends, and her Los Dinos band. The songs on the album range from "Como Te Quiero Yo A Ti" (1988), a re-recorded version modernized and remixed on the album, to "Puede Ser", an unreleased duet with Nando "Guero" Dominguez, recorded two weeks before Selena was shot and killed in March 1995. Following Selena's death, her father Abraham Quintanilla expressed his interest in persevering his daughter's memory through her works. Selena's family has been criticized by fans and the media for exploiting the singer and cannibalizing her murder by commercializing her repertoire.
Los Chichos is a Spanish band that was formed in the mid-1970s by singer-songwriter Juan Antonio Jiménez and brothers Julio and Emilio González. The band reached its peak popularity in the 1980s and restructured in 1990 when Jiménez began his solo career. Los Chichos has sold 15 million records, making it one of the best-selling Spanish groups in history. They performed the popular rumba flamenca in the vein of Los Chunguitos.
Paulina is the fifth studio album by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio. It was released on May 23, 2000 internationally by Universal Music México and marks her first record production with American global music corporation. Rubio worked with writers and producers such as Estéfano (mostly), Chris Rodríguez, Armando Manzanero, Juan Gabriel, Christian De Walden, and Richard Daniel Roman. The album explores a more variety sounds much different to the vein of her albums with EMI Music, and has an overall latin pop and dance-pop vibe, with influences from rock, ranchera, bolero, funk and house. Elaborating a "synthesis of the end of the millennium" theme for the album, Rubio reinvented her image.

Diva is the third studio album by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen. It was released on August 23, 2003 and independently distributed by Real Music Group after being dropped from Sony Discos. The recording followed her two previous studio albums which were commercially unsuccessful and a hiatus from her musical career beginning in 1999. It featured collaborations with Latin hip hop artists including Mexicano 777, Bimbo and K-7 while the album's production was handled by a variety of musical producers; Luny Tunes, DJ Nelson, Noriega, and Iván Joy were enlisted, while DJ Adam produced a majority of the tracks. Lyrically, the album explored female empowerment, infidelity, heartbreak and love with "a veritable compendium of her artistic passion, femininity, and culture". The musical styles of the recording alternate between reggaetón and hip-hop while Queen experiments with R&B, dancehall, and pop balladry.
Flashback is the fifth studio album by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen, released on October 4, 2005 through Univision and on September 15, 2007 as Greatest Hits in Germany and Spain. It is often considered as a studio-compilation release due to the amount of the album being previously released material. Queen began working on Flashback after the moderate success of Real in early 2005. Featuring content dating back to 1995, when she was still a part of the all-male group The Noise, the album includes four new pieces of work all produced by Rafi Mercenario, the genre's most requested record producer at the time.
Los Super Reyes are an American musical group from Corpus Christi, Texas, created by Cruz Martínez. Martínez created the group after he and A.B. Quintanilla had arguments over Martínez selling Quintanilla's group they were both in at the time, Los Kumbia Kings. A.B. Quintanilla left the group he had created along with other members and created Kumbia All Starz. Cruz Martínez kept the remaining members of Los Kumbia Kings and use his half of the group to create Los Super Reyes.

La Década Prodigiosa, also known as just La Década, is a Spanish music group formed in the mid-Eighties that participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988.
La Leyenda is the name of the third box set from the Tejano pop singer Selena that was released by Capitol Latin/EMI and Q-Productions labels. The album was released on March 9, 2010. This box set was released in three formats: a four-disc box set, a two-disc special-edition album, and a single-disc album. According to Suzette Quintanilla's YouTube video, EMI teamed up with Q-Productions to release this box set, and Quintanilla asks Selena fans around the world to contribute a special message to Selena that may or may not be included in the new box set. The Box-sets will contain an exclusive "Selena" charm and four booklets that include messages from Selena's family, friends, and fans from around the world. Selena fans around the world were told to collaborate pictures of themselves to be part of the La Leyenda bound books, but in early February 2010, Q-Productions and Capitol Latin decided to cancel the transaction due to legal actions with copyrighted images from fans.
Tadros also known as Les Frères Tadros / the Tadros Brothers / Les jumeaux Tadros / Duo Tadros are a Quebec-based Canadian musical duo consisting of singer-songwriters Daniel "Dan" Tadros and Eric Tadros. The Tadros brothers, of mixed Egyptian and Italian origin, are multilingual performers with songs composed in both French and English, and also singing in Spanish and Italian. The discography of American Latin rap band The Barrio Boyzz consists of seven studio albums, five compilation albums, one holiday album, fourteen singles and four music videos. The Barrio Boyzz was formed in 1991 by Joe Jacket, who proposed creating a mainstream Latino group. They auditioned for chairman of EMI Records, Charles Koppelman, who signed the group to its sister label SBK Records. The group's debut album, Crazy Coolin' (1992), failed to make any impact on music charts, but its lead single "Muy Suavemente" peaked at number 36 on the US Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart. Their second studio album, Donde Quiera Que Estes (1994) reached the top 20 on Billboard's Latin charts. The album spawned three singles; "Cerca De Ti" and "Te Amaré", which peaked at number one and number 16 on the Hot Latin Tracks, respectively. The titular single, a duet with American Tejano pop singer Selena, peaked at number one and was logged atop the Hot Latin Tracks chart for six consecutive weeks.
"Quiero Bailar" is a song by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen, from the platinum edition of her third studio album, Diva (2003). It was composed by Queen alongside her then-husband Gran Omar, produced by Iván Joy and released as the lead single from the album in 2004. Lyrically, "the song talks about a guy expecting sex after a dance like it was a bad thing." Addressing the topic of female autonomy of the body, the song has become recognized as a female empowerment anthem.

Amaia Romero Arbizu, known mononymously as Amaia, is a Spanish singer-songwriter, pianist and actress. After participating in many talent shows, she gained national recognition after winning series nine of musical television contest Operación Triunfo, later representing Spain alongside fellow competitor Alfred García at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with "Tu Canción". Romero later signed with Universal Music and released her debut album Pero No Pasa Nada in 2019.
