Sooran is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language neo-noir crime drama film directed by Balu Narayanan. It stars Karan, Anumol and Shefali Sharma in the lead roles. The film was released after being in production for four years, in July 2014. [1] [2] [3]
The film, directed by newcomer Balu Narayanan, began production in April 2010 and was shot across Tamil Nadu in Pollachi and Gobichettipalayam. [4] [5] The film was completed in late 2010, and in February 2011 it was reported that Karan had refused to dub for the film as a result of non-payment. [6]
A grand audio launch event was held for the film in August 2011, with S. P. Jananathan and K. Bhagyaraj being the event's chief guests. [7] The film remained completed but unreleased for three further years, before finally having a release in July 2014. [8] [9]

Sagara Sangamam is a 1983 Indian Telugu-language dance film written and directed by K. Viswanath and produced by Edida Nageswara Rao. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Jaya Prada, Sarath Babu, S. P. A. S. Lakshmi Narayanan is an audiographer - Sound Designer, Production sound mixer and sound editor from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is based in Trinity Digi Labs Studio. He won the National Film Award for Best Audiography for his works on acclaimed feature films Kannathil Muthamittal (2002), directed by Mani Ratnam and Kadhalan (1994), directed by S.Shankar. He has also won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Audiographer and Kerala State Film Awards for the various regional films over the years.

Billa is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Vishnuvardhan. It is a remake of the 1980 film of the same name starring Rajnikanth, which itself is a remake of 1978 Hindi film Don, starring Amitabh Bachchan. Mozhi (transl. Language) is a 2007 Indian Tamil language musical romantic comedy film written and directed by Radha Mohan and produced by Prakash Raj. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jyothika, Prakash Raj, and Swarnamalya. The film's plot is about Karthik (Prithviraj), who works as a musician in films. He falls in love with a deaf and mute girl, Archana (Jyothika), but she considers him her friend and disapproves of his love. The rest of the story revolves around Archana accepting Karthik's love.

The film marks Nani's Tamil debut. The story narrates events from the slum areas of Chennai, showcasing characters and their struggles. The film, jointly produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon's Photon Kathaas and R. S. Infotainment, had been in production for over one year. The film released on 29 July 2011, while a dubbed Telugu version, titled Sega, released simultaneously in Andhra Pradesh. Veppam received mixed reviews.
