Sophia Forrest is an Australian actor.

Early life

Forrest is the child of Andrew and Nicola Forrest. They attended St Hilda's School in Perth and graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). [1]

Career

Forrest played the role of Debbie Hampshire in Love Child , joining the cast for season four. [2] [3] In 2022 they played the role of Dani in Barons [4] and, on stage in 2024, that of Tessa Ensler in the demanding one-hander Prima Facie with Perth's Black Swan State Theatre Company. [5]

Forrest was nominated for Most Popular New Talent at the 2018 Logie Awards for their role in the Network 10 TV series Love Child . [6]

Personal life

In April 2022, it was announced by Forrest that they were engaged to Zara Zoe. [7]

After Wonderland was cancelled in 2015, Bamford made her major theatre debut in a production of Freak Winds. Later that year, she began appearing in Andrew Upton's production of The Present, which later transferred to Broadway. In 2016, Bamford joined the cast of Home and Away in the recurring role of Jeannie Woods.

<i>Prima Facie</i> (play) 2019 one-woman play by Suzie Miller

Prima Facie is a dramatic one-woman play written by Australian playwright Suzie Miller. It premiered in 2019 at the Stables Theatre, Sydney, Australia, where it picked up major awards from the Australian Writers' Guild. The 2022 London production of the show was nominated for five Laurence Olivier Awards, with wins for Best New Play and Best Actress for Jodie Comer, who subsequently won a Tony Award for the same role on Broadway in New York.
