Sorin Radu Macavei (born 24 May 1956) is a Romanian former volleyball player who competed in the 1980 Summer Olympics.
Macavei was born in Cluj-Napoca.
In 1980, Macavei was part of the Romanian team that won the bronze medal in the Olympic tournament. He played five matches.

Nicolae Negrilă is a Romanian former professional footballer who played for Universitatea Craiova. He earned 28 caps for the Romania national football team, and participated in UEFA Euro 1984.

She won three bronze medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, one each in the K-1 500 m (1983), the K-2 500 m (1981), and the K-4 500 m (1983) events. Her sister-in-law Maria Nichiforov is also a former Olympic canoer.

In 1970, he became the first world champion in rowing from Romania. He also won three bronze medals at the European championships in 1967–1973. After retiring from competitions, he worked as a coach at his club Dinamo București.
Ladislau Lovrenschi was a rowing coxswain. He was born in a Hungarian community in Romania, where he is also known as László Lavrenszki. In 1970 he became the first world champion in rowing from Romania. He also won a bronze medal at the 1967 European Championships. After retiring from competition he worked as a coach at CFR Timișoara and assisted in training the Romanian national team.
Ştefan Rusu is a retired Greco-Roman wrestler from Romania. He competed at the 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympics and won a silver, a gold and a bronze medal, respectively. He also won world titles in different weight divisions in 1978 and 1982 and European titles in 1978–1981 and 1985. After retiring from competitions he worked as a wrestling coach in Romania and in Turkey.
