Sourabh Shrivastava (born 12 July 1979) is an Indian film director. [1]

Sourabh Shrivastava was born in Sagar (Saugor), Madhya Pradesh. He did his bachelor's in music from Sagar University and came to Mumbai to become a music director.

Shrivastava started his career with an Advertisement in TV serials produced by UTV and soon became an independent director. He later joined RGV's Film Factory as a chief Ad and senior casting director. He directed his first independent feature film- Vinay Pathak and Saurabh Shukla starrer 'Oh My God' In 2008 under Zee motion pictures. He is directing his second film, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla & Sara Loren starrer 'Fraud Saiyyan' for Prakash Jha Production which was scheduled to be released in 2015. [1] [3] In 2011 he founded his TV production house- 'Miracle Workers' and produced a prime time Hindi daily soap- 'Phir Subah Hogi' for Zee TV. The show did not do well, in terms of numbers, but was critically acclaimed. [2] There are a couple of future film and TV projects he is currently working on. The next TV series produced by Sourabh Shrivastava is Bhakton ki Bhakti mein Shakti soon to start on Life OK. It is to be produced under his new production company, SMS Entertainment.
